    Nice large room

    rating16 May 2026

Having stayed in La Maris area on previous visits, we chose this hotel as it had bigger rooms. It was still about a good 10 min walk to Ru De Rivoli, but that was fine. Breakfast was ok, and they would freshly cook omelet / eggs for you. The gentleman in the breakfast area was lovely, he always remembered how we liked the coffee and just got the coffee without asking, lovely man. Unfortunately, our bed in the room, backed onto the lift, so every time the lift moved, we could hear it clearly, which did disturb our sleep. Short few min walk to Metro.

1K Paris – Friendly Staff, Prime Location, But Needs Refreshing

    rating15 Oct 2025

We recently stayed at 1K Paris and found it to be a mixed experience. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, providing wonderful restaurant recommendations and clear train directions. I have to say this was a great first impression. However, in my opinion, the hotel itself aligns more with a 3-star rating. For the nightly rate (over $300), the facilities felt dated, and the shower/tub area had some mildew and safety issues. The housekeeping team did an excellent job maintaining cleanliness, and the bed linens were always fresh, but I missed that special French touch, such as luxurious toiletries or subtle scents that elevate the stay.Breakfast offered a modest but enjoyable buffet selection. The on-site Peruvian restaurant was exceptional, both the food and service were top-notch , and the speakeasy-style bar added a lively and unique Parisian experience. The hotel’s location is ideal: close to metro stations, charming cafés, shops, and major attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring Paris. My recommendation for management would be to incorporate more personal touches that make guests feel valued, especially when celebrating milestones. A thoughtful gesture can turn a simple stay into a memorable experience and encourage guests to return or recommend the property.

Great Value and Location on the Edge of Le Marais

    rating01 Oct 2025

If you're planning a weeklong trip to Paris with no idea where to stay, you should consider staying here, especially if Le Marais is your neighborhood of choice. It was ours because we prefer a looser vibe than the other famous areas provide. All the disenfranchised hipsters appear to hang out in these parts, e.g., the gays, so we felt at home. The hotel is on the edge of Le Marais on Boulevard du Temple, a busy thoroughfare lined with restaurants.Hidden by the adjoining tacqueria and sushi eateries, the hotel doesn't have a grand entrance or much of a lobby, but it has an earthy South American style. In fact, we passed through the open cocktail area of their Peruvian restaurant Inka to get to the small elevator that led us to our room. My husband was looking for extra space since we got used to the smaller rooms we secured in Asia. We booked the 431-square-foot Junior Double Room for $363 per night. It was ideal for an extended stay because we could completely unpack our suitcases into a huge wall of wardrobe closets. The King bed was the right size with our preferred firm mattress. There was a comfy sofa for jet lag napping. The bathroom was really spacious with two column sinks and a huge tub. One minor nit was the tub walls were too high to climb in and out with ease. Best of all though was how quiet the room was no matter the hour.

    Great location questionable hotel

    rating21 Aug 2025

We stayed here for 4 nights at beginning of August. The hotel is located in the lovely area of Le Marais. Very convenient to subway, great restaurants and local places. Great to walk the district. When we arrived on August 1st the lady at reception was quite rude and was just too busy to deal with us and answer some basic inquiries. We were given a nice room but the safe was broken. After explaining the importance of having a functional safe they moved us to another room. Room was nice, clean but difficult to shower in a bathtub without the water going all over the bathroom.
