Location

    A good choice for us, but some rooms have small showers

    We had three nights here and were very pleased with our choice. The location was perfect for us - easy walking distance to 2 metro stations, lots of great restaurants and (importantly) patisseries. It is even on the walking tour of Montmartre we'd chosen. The reception staff were charming and very helpful. They spoke good English but were happy to converse with us in our faltering French. When we asked for a taxi to be called, one of them insisted on walking with us to the pick-up point and then came to find us when the taxi driver chose somewhere else! Our double room (21) was small, but plenty big enough for our needs. However, the shower was the smallest we've come across. Larger people than us would struggle. The other member of our party had a single room (10), which is a good size, with a bath and a shower over it. The food at the buffet breakfast was good. The coffee was very disappointing though - serve yourself to weak and often stewed coffee from a jug. The staff could serve you coffee from a vending-style machine for an extra charge - we didn't bother.

    It was perfect to stay there. Beautiful hotel. If we go to Paris again, we will definitely stay here again.

    Horrendous experience this time! I have stayed here before and had a lovely time, I have previous recommended to F&F also. Not any more….We booked direct this time and paid upon booking, received an email confirming all paid. Arrived at the hotel told wasn’t paid and wanted the full amount. We said no and shared the email as proof. The staff badgered us all weekend to pay and it ruined the weekend. We were also put in the wrong room, when we came back from a day out, our room door was wide open with all our belongings inside. The customer service was terrible and some of the staff were really rude. They wouldn’t let us leave without paying again. I made a complaint when I got home, I got my money back for the 2nd payment they took from me but no apology, no remorse for ruining our weekend.     The hotel was very clean. Unfortunately the room was at the front of the hotel next to the hotel light which lit the bedroom up even when the curtains were closed.The reception staff were lovely and the hotel was well located in Paris.     Small comfortable hotel in Montmarte

    Very comfortable hotel. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and professional. The room was spotless. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night. An excellent location for exploring Montmarte with Metro nearby either Blanche or Abessess. Both Metro gives you easy access to all of Paris. There is a bus also nearby. There are many good restaurants nearby as well as boulangerie, fromagier, supermarket and bars.The breakfast was very nice indeed.
