  Terrible old place. This hotel is very old, and not in good repair. In addition, there is very little staff.

  Not 4 stars by far. The facilities are old. There is little staff. Check in has 1 lady with a scowl on her face. Elevator is tiny, and quite quirky. Really, this is a 2 star place. I am not sure how they get away with listing as a 4 star. At breakfast, there is no staff, and people leave dirty dishes around. Eggs are cold. You cannot even control your room temperature yourself. You have to ask front desk.

  This boutique hotel has an impressive location in the marais. The executive room I booked is relatively spacious and is quiet. I regret the lacking of a proper cupboard, replaced by shelves and a curtain. The breakfast buffet is minimalistic and I would skip it, as it isn't worth the price. I also regret that the Japanese toilet in my room wasn't working and, despite me asking twice, it hasn't been repaired, nor has the hotel communicated with me about it. The only sign of an attempt to repair is a metal plate that has been standing on the toilet floor for 2 days. I will try another hotel next time.

  I loved my staff at the hotel 9 Confidential. The location is great and the Valentine suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. Room was clean and I would staff here again. I was able to walk to many places and take the bus or train easily from this location. I felt very safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. The windows kept out the street noise and I enjoyed the balcony during the day.

  Exactly what I was looking for in a Parisian hotel

  I stayed at this hotel for a week in late September. During my many layovers, I managed to severely injure my back so I was never able to leave the room. You really get to know a hotel this way! At check in, I explained my predicament and the front desk was fantastically supportive. The lift was being repaired (was fixed by end of day!) so they took my bags up for me. The room was fantastic. Small for some, but fairly large for the location. It was well equipped. Other positives, quiet at night, lots of lighting options, amazing temperature and pressure in shower. The bed was fantastic, and I should know, I was in that bed for most of the day for 5 days! The area was perfection, it's everything I wanted. Close to big sights and walkable. Great dining within a block, a Franprix less than a block one way and a pharmacy less than a block the other way. I felt very safe. Room key required to get into establishment at all times. Also required to get up the lift and get down the lift. Truly felt safe. Upon checkout, I stupidly left my key in the room so I couldn't get down in the lift. Lovely woman at front desk went up to grab my luggage from the top of the stairs. I checked out a day early and had I not booked with miles on a 3rd party, I truly believe they would have refunded me. I can't say enough about this hotel. I will do everything to heal my back and return. Also, pics on the website are very accurate. I stayed in the Maryse. Pics were taken right when I walked in.

  Based on the 7 nights and 3300 euros we spent at 9Confidentiel, we strongly urge you to avoid this hotel.

  After spending 7 nights and 3300 euros, we strongly encourage you to avoid this hotel. Detailed review on google: (1) wife often travels with teddy bear that deceased family member (who loved to travel) gave her (perhaps odd but high sentimental value); (2) item goes missing from our room; (3) we tell reception, they promise to check with housekeeping and check laundry room right away; (4) next morning, they hadn’t checked but again promised to do so; (5) eventually checked, said it was not there and said it may have been sent to offsite laundry facility (very frustrating b/c they could have checked hotel right away to avoid it being sent offsite); (6) next day, told us that hotel *emailed* laundry facility (no response) but had not called them; (7) told them they need to take this seriously, to *call* the facility and for management to call us ASAP – they promised to do so and said they would “make it right” if they can’t find item; (8) checked out next morning, told no update but would call us ASAP; (9) 3 days later, no call or email so we emailed hotel; (10) 2 days later, hotel says facility did not have our item, apologized and to let them know if they can do anything to fix this; (11) we asked for discount (offered to repay it if our item was ever found); (12) 10 days later, completely ignoring us and management has never contacted us. Many other issues with room/hotel, but items being taken from our room and hotel not caring and now ignoring us is unacceptable.
