Location

The city hotel is located near the Jacques Bonsergent metro station, and the Eurostar station and Thalys station are just 1 or 2 stops from the hotel. Gare du Nord is approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel and the Les Halles shops are around 2 km away. A 10-minute ride on public transport will take guests to Place de la Bastille, Place des Vosges, Quartier Pompidou and the Forum des Halles. This hotel is a haven of peace and comfort in the heart of Paris' artistic quarter. The hotel is on a quiet street off the Place de la République, only minutes away from the arty Marais, Halles, Pompidou and Opéra districts.

The hotel was built in 1920. 9 single rooms and 49 double rooms are available to guests in a 6-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building.     My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is very nice, with an inviting lobby and self-service drinks at any hour. We stayed in a "Club" room, which was very good, with a large bathroom. So far, so very much what you would expect of the hotel from what you see from their website. However, it was the staff that made our stay particularly memorable. We had some minor issues with the room and the payment (the latter was our mistake, not theirs) and the staff did what they possibly could to fix it, always with a smile. I give the hotel 4 bubbles, but the 5th is for the staff!     The mattress was medium-firm and very comfortable. I would suggest extending the glass door of the bathtub a bit more to prevent water from splashing everywhere during showers

    Small, lovely hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are very nice, great bathroom! Great location between Gare du Nord, Paris-centre and Le Marais.Floors can be a little noisy, one can hear people walk, but not annoying.We will definitely come back here!

    We really appreciated the friendly welcome and were delighted with the lovely birthday greetings we found in our room. The staff is very friendly throughout, specially in the breakfast room. The breakfast is versatile and exzellent. The Rooms are modern, well-maintained and very clean. We think we found a new home (Hotel) for our future stays in Paris!
