    great room…staff super nice…really enjoyed our 1 night stay..breakfast was delicious..great location to walk to restaurants and also walk to train to get into paris (20.00 uber) ..would def stay here again!

    Ok, Lets see. The hotel is located in a thriving high income neighbourhood, with no commercial activity yet near Champs Elysees and new places like Louis Vuitton cultural space whatever. I had a problem and changed the hotel. Th reason was that the room was very small. I asked for two beds and they were literally one next to the other like a single one. The hotel gave me the option of leaving without penalties if I gave them a check out date that same day, which I did. Then, morning, breakfast, a french couple actually occupied our table while we were in the buffet. Unbelievable. I was convinced by my 13 year old daughter to just change table, but the hotel didnt want to get involved. so be aware. ok hope this is helpfull.     Outdated and slightly inconvenient location

    This hotel was not particularly clean. There was a strange smell – vinegar, perhaps from cleaning? – in the rooms. The fixings themselves were outdated; this didn't feel as modern as other AC hotels we've enjoyed staying at. It had the annoying bathroom layout (separate toilet and shower/sink) that is common in some European hotels.The location is okay but not convenient, which definitely contributes to this hotel's lower prices. It's a ~7 minute walk to the nearest 1 metro station, which will get you most of where you want to go in the city, but it's towards the end of the 1 line which increases travel times. The area around the hotel is perfectly safe, though.Overall, wouldn't stay again, even though the hotel can be booked cheaply through Marriott points.     Worst staff at reception at AC Marriott Porte Maillot, Paris

    One of the worst reception staff I have ever seen. After spending more than 12 hrs flying one would expect a hospitable welcome rather than an aggressive impolite Asian-French non-helpful attendant who refused to even check for upgrade availabilities or earlier room check-in time, or even verify that the reservation made was for two people and not one person as his system wrongfully indicated. He even refused to look at our confirmation that the reservation was indeed made for two people. Shame on Marriott to hire such an arrogant and unhelpful staff.     Ok hotel if you need to be in the area

    Not a great hotel but certainly comfortable. It is fine if you need to be by the Palais des Congress but otherwise there is nothing special about the location. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the metro and train line. It is an easy walk to the Champs Elysee but everything else is a hike. The hotel itself has comfortable rooms without much view. The bathrooms are small and the furnishings are beat up with nicks and scratches. There is a descent breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly but no extras like bellman to help with luggage. I wouldn’t choose the hotel again unless I need to be at a conference.
