  Great location: shopping center within 2 minutes walk, a few metro stations within 2 to 5 minutes walk, any kind of restaurants are all around, laundromat within 5 minutes walk, Also, if you wish, you can walk to Louvre and Notre Dame of Paris and be there within 15 minutes.Gare Nord and Gare l'Est train stations are also very close. I needed somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes to get there from the hotel.Bed was OkDisliked: the only power outlet I could use to charge my powerbank during the night was next to entrance door and I had to put my powerbank on the top of radiator. Not a problem during the summer, but not sure whether it would be a good idea during colder time when radiator would be heating the room upTheir lift/elevator is very small and it could fit 1 person and 1 suitcase.Stairs from ground floor to the reception area are a bit steep.Overall, if I will be back to Paris(and if their price are still reasonable), I would stay there again

  Don't be fooled by the pictures, the hotel is more like a 70s, 2-star. If it wasn't for the location, nobody would stay here. It is SMALL and cramped. My room was on the 6th floor but the elevator was SO small, it made me feel claustrophobic and I had to lug everything up myself. The carpets are stained, the wifi doesn't work very well, and the bed covers don't look clean. If I wasn't so exhausted and had had to stay more than one night, I would have swallowed the $180 CDN I had already paid, and gone somewhere else. Oh... and on the morning of my departure, at 5:30 am, the front desk informed me that the "taxes" hadn't been collected through Booking.com, and I owed them 4 Euros! Also, they never told me that they had booked a private car service to the airport for me, so when an unmarked car showed up, I had to spend 10 minutes getting them to show me proof that this was indeed a legit service. This might be good for 20-something backpackers... but an awful experience for me. And I stayed at marvelous 3-stars in Provence the week before. This hotel is one-star.

  You cannot beat the location for the price. The hotel is nothing fancy and was nice and clean. I was in Paris for a quick solo trip and this hotel was within walking distance to many sights and within 500 feet of the train which can quickly take you anywhere. If you have a problem with steep stairs, not the hotel for you.

  Bedbugs stay away!

  Our first impression was ok because the location is great and the price is not too bad. The staf isnot really friendly and the hotel looks outdated but we were ok with that. In the morning we woke up withhorrible bedbug bites all over. Disgusting! Stay away!

  The bathroom has been very bad and the hotel entrance is without elevators and I am leg pain. My wife is also afraid of the small, confined space. We asked the hotel employee and manager for a bigger and better room, he said you had to pay more for the bigger room, which we agreed to, but then said you had to wait 24 hours for the room to be empty.And the reception man can't speak English
