Location

This hotel is situated between the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and the Opéra, in the heart of Paris' business and leisure quarter. The closest metro station is only 2 minutes' walk away (line 12). Guests will find restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. It is near the very popular cabaret Moulin Rouge and the department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps (15 minutes' walk). The Champs Elysées is only 3.5 km away. The hotel was built in 1900. The hotel has 11 junior suites, 5 suites, apartments, studios, single rooms and 20 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

    We booked a five-night stay at approximately €150 per night based on the attractive photos and the hotel’s proximity to the train and bus stops. Unfortunately, the reality was very different:Room Size & Cleanliness: The room was extremely small, leaving barely any space for our luggage. The floor appeared unclean, and we even found an empty bottle and a used napkin under the bed.Lack of Basic Amenities: There was no air conditioning or minibar, and the only floor fan provided was broken. With daytime temperatures reaching 95 °F (35 °C), we had to keep the window wide open to get any relief. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was less than half full, and there were only two electrical outlets in the entire room, forcing us to take turns charging our devices.Bathroom Issues: The bathroom was about the same size as the bedroom and lacked a shower curtain. Every shower resulted in water spraying across the floor, creating a serious slipping hazard.Entertainment & Dining: The TV wouldn’t turn on, and the shared dining area was closed outside of breakfast hours—plus it bore little resemblance to the promotional images.For the price we paid, we would have been better off in a budget hostel offering cleaner, more comfortable accommodations. This was a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment. We would not stay here again and strongly advise other travelers to look elsewhere.

    This hotel is run down but clean. The staff are polite and helpful. The location is great, lots of restaurants and local stores around. It's about 20 to 30 min walk to Montrame and Louvre. It's too expensive for what it is but it worked for us. I probably would not be back but it was OK.

    Perfect for what we needed

    Great location for visiting the sites with plenty of metro stations within the vicinity. Most tourist sites are walkable from the hotel(2-5km). Area is nice and located in between some really nice high street/designer stores and the more traditional Montmartre. You will find plenty of bakeries, supermarkets and great little restaurant a couple of doors down (Brasserie À La Place Saint Georges).Hotel check in was fine and staff friendly. Beds were really comfortable. Now from here I guess it all depends on what you want from a hotel. If you want a perfect room with a nice balcony with 5 star facilities this isn't for you and it shouldn't be judged to this standard. If you want a cheap comfortable base in a good location and if your not bothered about the décor then this place was perfect for a short break. They do offer a breakfast which was priced at 12.99 a day which seemed a lot especially with so many shops on your doorstep but I didn't have one so cant really judge. You also have to hand in your room key every time you leave the hotel which is a bit of a nuisance but does no real harm and I guess it saves you from loosing them while out and about.Paris and the people were amazing

    The check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the guy at the desk was polite. There was barely any soap in the bathroom and the TV had like 2 channels. It was very close to the metro 12 which was useful. The stay was okay, but I don’t think we will go back here again just because there are better options for a cheaper price.

    The first day, I stayed there on a business trip, someone came into my room and stole all my money.When I complained at the reception, the manager never made a move to talk to me or even see how I was managing without a euro, as everything was gone.
