Go somewhere else. After many visits we won’t come back.

    rating06 Oct 2025

We visit Paris every October for the horse racing at Longchamps and have, for years stayed at this hotel because we have been able to reserve parking for our car. We arrived this year after a long drive from central England and I was informed at reception that, despite have a written assurance that my reservation for a parking space had been received (I had sent a message via the booking.com portal to the hotel to say that, in accordance with their page on booking.com we were reserving a parking space for our vehicle in advance and that if this could not be guaranteed they should not accept our booking as we would seek an alternative hotel with on site parking) and a parking space would be available, the hotel did not accept reservations for parking and there was no space available for our car. The individual concerned stated that he was not interested in what I had in writing and that the hotel had not reserved me a parking space and the assurance had come from booking.com not the hotel. He was patronising, condescending and rude. I did not check in, instead I took a seat and commenced looking for a number on which to contact booking.com to determine whether they had made this assurance without contacting the hotel or whether the hotel had misled me. Either way I wanted it sorted out. I was very stressed & needed my GTN angina spray as my heart was racing. All of a sudden the receptionist said someone was leaving and we could have their parking space. Of course we accepted but this did not resolve the matter. To add further insult to injury the receptionist allocated us a disabled room directly over the reception where we could hear all check in and departure traffic and where the shower flooded the bathroom, there was no lid on the toilet, the mirror was tilted to suit a wheelchair user meaning you had to crouch or get on your knees to use the mirror. In the room was an emergency assistance panel which flashed red lights all night keeping us awake. Staying at the hotel ruined our trip this year. We will not stay in the hotel again and advise travellers to go elsewhere unless they are absolutely desperate. We will find a hotel where we are valued as customers, where we can reserve parking for our car and where we are treated with respect. Frédéric Martinelli, Propriétaire at Aparthotel Adagio Access la Defense Puteaux, responded to this review Dear KarenatLoubes,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience at our Aparthotel. I sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations and that you encountered challenges with parking and the room allocated to you.I understand how important parking arrangements are for your travel plans, especially after a long journey. I would like to clarify that, as per our policy, we do not accept reservations for parking spaces. I apologize for any misunderstanding that may have occurred between our team and your booking confirmation. Additionally, I am sorry to hear about the issues you faced with your room. AWFUL

    rating02 Jun 2025

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. As far as the bed, the photos clearly show a king size bed but the room has only a double couch which is totally deceiving. As for the service provided, I had already paid in advance the city taxes but when I got there I was asked to pay them again. Thank god the amount was returned but still it shows how much disorganised this hotel is.I really thought that Apart Hotels were a good chain of hotels but clearly they arent Frédéric Martinelli, Owner at Aparthotel Adagio Access la Defense Puteaux, responded to this review Dear Adriana T,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. I sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced with the bed configuration and the service regarding the city tax. We strive to provide accurate information and appreciate your input as it helps us improve our processes. While we aim to ensure clarity in our offerings, I understand how this situation could be frustrating. Your concerns are important to us, and I assure you that your comments will be taken into consideration for our ongoing staff training and service enhancements.Best regards,Frédéric MartinelliDirecteur/General managerAdagio Access Puteaux

    Mixed feelings

    rating29 Sept 2024

The location of this hotel is really perfect within a short distance from Puteaux Center, La Défense and access to public transportation. The hotel could be amazing but it definitely needs some upgrades here and there. We were there in February 2024 and now in September and we can really see that it’s not going in the right direction. But the concept is great. There is even a garden accessible for guests and the layout of the room is good but then comes a level of service that could require some additional arms. Cleaning of the room upon arrival was very superficial not to mention that the small balcony was still completely left untouched from the previous guests who had left everything there from breakfast to ashtray. And considering that as part of the package- and it’s ok - the cleaning is done once a week it would be appreciated if it could be cleaned in the first place. As a cleaning crew how can you possibly miss the balcony when the room is 20m2 with one window? Then the “kitchen” has the absolute minimum equipment. Don’t expect to find a simple wine glass or a bread knife - pretty basic equipment. We could get one wine glass from reception - so new that we had to wash it ourselves to remove the marks - and we asked for a bread knife that never came. People at reception try their best to assist but for us checking in mid afternoon took forever precisely over 40 mn although we had done the pre check in on line. So between the check in process and the cleaning of the balcony we had already spent 1.5 h to finally settle down. The bathroom was spacious but like many other parts in the building very tired. Rooms with balcony are really recommended although we experienced people living above having no scrupulous dumping their cigarettes 🚬 and ashes on our small balcony where we would have liked to eat but since cleaning takes place once a week we had to live with the cigarettes from above. We know it’s a 3 stars and therefore we should not have crazy expectations but we still have expectations especially because we knew the hotel from previous stays. If not already done I invite the manager of the hotel to visit the 6th floor, come out of the elevator and pretend for just a second that you are a guest landing in the hotel. Some people have clearly been vomiting here and there big times. Perhaps too many Olympic celebrations or whatever but as a guest it’s definitely not entertaining to pass by these areas a few times a day. I don’t think it would put the business at risk to invest in some small over carpets to hide the disgusting damages but apparently nobody has been thinking about that. So all this to say that either they are really on a low budget or someone is not doing the job. Sad because it could really be a super spot. Last but not least, we of course openly expressed our small concerns at the reception so it’s not like we’re stabbing them in the back but strangely enough hotels are normally very eager to get customers evaluations, it’s even written in big letters in the elevator- but this time we didn’t receive any request for evaluations so that’s why we are posting our review here. Great family friendly hotel

Great hotel for families. Parking is available, kids play area onsite and a public outdoor playground is also nearby. Booking connecting rooms allows adults to have privacy while keeping kids nearby. There are plenty of shops nearby including Carrefour for groceries, and multiple bakeries and restaurants. Metro line 1 is within easy walking distance.
