Location

Located between the opera house and the Place de la République at the heart of the lively theatre district, this first-class hotel lies just a short distance from a diverse selection of bars, restaurants, the train station and links to the public transport network. An abundance of shopping venues are to be found within 500 m of the hotel and transfer to Paris' Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports takes about 30 minutes.

Facility

The hotel has 4 single rooms and 28 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Slippers are included.     Great location on walking distance from Gare du Nord

    Just 15 minutes from Gare du Nord. Around the corner you find enough bars and restaurants. Metro château d'eau is 5 minutes walking. The rooms streetside there is some noise, but not to much. The room is good with excellent beds. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is enough. For us next the again Aulivia Opera Hotel! Good food and wine: Faubourg 34!

    This hotel is close to metro stations to get to all typical attractions. Staff are friendly and a great help. Free fresh water and sparkling water machine in lobby to refill your bottles. Breakfast option available too although we did not use it preferring to get out onto the streets. Rooms are very small but this is typical in Paris - the lobby downstairs had a room with chairs and sofas which we used to congregate with our friends to plan our day. Supermarket across the road was handy too. Heaps of bars and eating places close by. Recommend packing ear plugs as the nights are noisy with street life.

    I had the worst experience at this hotel. The room was dirty, with stains on the sheets and a terrible smell in the bathroom. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and when I complained, they just shrugged it off. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and there were loud noises all night, making it impossible to sleep. The breakfast was a joke—cold, tasteless food with barely any options. Definitely not worth the money. I would never stay here again and highly recommend avoiding this place.

    This was our fourth and last stay at Aulivia. First I don't see any differences between and standard room and the superior one, which we had booked. Second your light switching system is the worst. Every time your turn on/off the lights everything flashes, that's totally annoying. It seems like it is not possible to lock the window in room 204. That's a no go in January. Last point is that you are promoting your rooms with something like 'no noises' and it is extremely loud in all rooms I stayed in so far. On our first day of this year's stay there were constructions or something in the room next to us. That is not what I expect from a four star hotel in Western Europe.

    We had a lovely weekend being so well taken care of. It is a perfect little hotel in a wonderful neighbourhood. The staff is outstanding! This is a highly recommendable hotel; I shall visit again!
