    Location is so convenient. Literally 1 minute walk from the Bastille Metro and so close to place des vosges and La Marais. The only problem we found is that it's very easy to be locked outside your room, and that our room on the first floor was quite noisy due to noise from the street (restaurants, cars).     My favourite hotel in Paris

    I have been visiting Paris at least four times a year for over 15 years and have always stayed at the Hôtel Bastille Speria, for the simple reason that I cannot think of a better hotel in Paris. It is a small hotel where you are looked after by exceptionally friendly staff at the reception and in the morning in the breakfast room. The location is very good, close to Place de la Bastille with its metro station which takes you all over Paris. But you don't have to go far to experience the fantastic atmosphere of Le Marais and the beautiful Place de Vosges.     A Gem at the edge of Place de la Bastille!

    This 3 star hotel is on the edge of the Place de la Bastille and Marais areas of Paris adjacent to the legendary Bofinger, which means it is centrally and extremely conveniently located. Additionally, it is a small boutique hotel with a 24 hour/day front desk that is wonderfully run. The rooms are typical size for Paris, quiet, very clean and very nicely appointed with comfortable beds. The price is very reasonable especially since you get more than you pay for because everything you would want to enjoy about Paris is surrounding you including, lots of shopping (both art and fashion), jazz clubs, legendary restaurants, numerous bistros, and a vibrant nightlife. The energy of Place de la Bastille is palpable and radiates into the surrounding area including this hotel. Special shout out to manager Eric Lassovani for his wonderfully attentive service. I have returned and will return to this gem of a property. Go and enjoy!     Very pleasant, well placed hotel in Paris

    The Hotel Speria is ideally placed for seeing Paris. Very close to a Metro Station and places like Notre Dame, Grand Palais and Musee D'Orsay are within walking distance. The rooms are small but well furnished and clean. The shower is wonderful and does not spray water all over the floor - which I have found in other hotels. Breakfast good choice and all staff friendly, helpful and patient putting up with my schoolgirl French!
