    Clean, quiet, quaint, great value

    We stayed at the hotel between 26-29/03/2026. Location is good, staff are friendly. My friend thought the wallpaper was ugly but I thought it was quaint. The room was a decent size and extremely clean, great value for money. We booked with breakfast included -- good selection, managed to hit my protein goals with the yoghurt and boiled eggs. Mattresses were too firm for a soft English like me and the pillows could have been bigger/fluffier. We were a bit paranoid because we had seen previous reviews claiming there were bedbugs. We didn't find any when we got there and we don't think we brought any back with us (stay tuned!) That said, bedbugs are just a part of the industry (whether it's a budget hotel like Belta or a high-end hotel like a Hilton) and it looks like the hotel has it under control.

    Faulty towers

    Great location and safe local area . Checking in was ok . Room was ok . Clean and decent size .Found hotel staff ok not 1 interacted . Breakfast ok toaster broke 2nd day tripped out whole hotel . I asked the person in breakfast room about toaster she glared looked and just said NO . Very basic food and no toaster left with pastries . Reminded me of faulty towers .

    Disgusting room, I was completely bitten by bed bugs!! The staff do not care at all. I had to go to a pharmacy and get treatment, pharmacist has advised these are really bad bites. No matter how nice, or how cheap the hotel is, if you see anything about BEG BUGS please avoid it. Eurostar need to take this off there website!!!!!!!

    This was our second stay at Belta. It is a lovely clean and friendly hotel. Situated in a very nice area for food and bars. The hotel it's self is quiet and rooms have plenty of room although could do with a freshen up. We had a 5th floor room with shower and doors onto the balcony we left the doors open overnight and there was no noise from outside. The addition of a kettle was a lovely addition from last time and appreciated. Breakfast is a continental style kept fresh and topped up could may be do thith a couple of added choices as if you have booked a Eurostar package breakfast has to be added to your price. But overall a nice hotel and would stay again

    There are bed bugs in this hotel, I came back from Paris absolutely covered as did my friend. We had no complaints other then this however this is just a general lack of cleanliness which is foul.
