    Perfect for solo travelers who are not tall!

    This hotel is perfect for solo travelers. Next to cafe, Metro and walk distance from everything. Is a budget hotel, you should not expect anything more. Bed was comfortable and the staff nice. I would not recommend for families. Yes elevator is small, bathroom tub is small. I am 5’1 and it is perfect for me. I could see how my husband and son would have trouble in the shower. But for me alone was everything I needed.

    The location of the Hotel is fantastic, next to metro station (green line no 12), while the level of the noise is not annoying. The neighborhood is full of nice ethnic restaurants. The rooms although small are very clean. The breakfast is decent, while the room rate is Ok for what they serve.

    Very well located next to gare Montparnasse. Breakfast was great. Very close to Eiffel Tower. Staff was very kind I think it was clean enough. Many people critised hygene for me it was ok.

    First off, the staff here are lovely. Can't fault them at all. Even though our French is very basic, they were very helpful in trying to help us with anything.The location is decent, 2 minutes walk to a subway so easy access to the city centre, airport etc.Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Whilst we bought the breakfast package, it's hardly breakfast...1 bread role, 1 crossiant and a sweet pasty. In the first time it's nice...but you kind of want something different after the 2nd...3rd and then 4th day in our case.The WiFi...is non existent, kept dropping out, had to keep signing in...don't even bother...Now the room, for what we paid, it's pretty appalling, there was evidence of water damage and after 4 nights we were getting physically sick due to the mould. We could not use the air-conditioning because the awful smell coning from it would stink out the room. Some of the pillows had mould stains, and it is evident the carpet isn't very clean as it smells dirty/mouldy... This is a serious health issue.This place had so much potential, but I wouldn't come back here... That being said, the staff are definitely the best part of the hotel.

    It was my 6th visit of Paris but there is always something new to discover. Berkeley hotel is situated in the heart of Montparnasse, two tubes stations of different lines are very close. The street is not long but there are at least 5 restaurants with delicious and reasonably priced food. My room in the hotel was clean, small but very cosy with a small refrigerator and a private bathroom. I enjoyed French breakfast which was served. I liked orange juice, French croissants and there was a choice of coffees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who served breakfast was very polite and advised me whatever I needed as well as the girl at the reception desk who worked the same days as he did.
