Nice hotel, basic but okay. Small pool that you have to walk through the dining area to get to - bit disconcerting. No sauna or steam room. Slowest lift in the world - don't be in a hurry. Location isn't bad close to tram and metro stations.Nice greeting at front desk - not the usual Paris gruffness and rude replies.

1 Star experience at a 4 star hotel….

Stayed at this hotel for my Anniversary. Was initially given an incorrect room and after complaining was given the room we booked only to find bedbugs in the room. We then moved again at 1.30am in the morning. Not the best stay and would rate the hotel as a 2/3 star hotel that has pool rather than it being a 4 star hotel. The hotel desk said they would refund me a few days after leaving and they didnt - stay there at your own risk

The hotel is dated, on a good link for transport, ordered a twin room, got a double bed, they have a tax you have to pay but nothing advised when booking, the receptionist uninterested, manager was not site, the room was dirty, the hotel in general needed a good dust and hoover, the tap on both the basin and sink damage one came off, stains all over the carpet and walls and it needed a good clean. One lift and you have to wait as the cleaners where up and down in it with diary laundry and it smelt, lift diary, mattresses left with curtains blocking a fire etc on the 7th floor, pool dirty and had dirt and dust in the ventilation system. Hair and plasters, lime scale left around the pool it's not regularly cleaned and damp in the pool area and mould, flys in the dinning area. Not a pleasant stag no response with my concerns and queries and no one raise my complaint with, I was provided with a card and to email my concerns. Never will I recommend or stay at this hotel again.

Good location but nothing like the picture on the website. Lack of attention to detail, ie no plug in the sink, curtain hooks missing, thin towels - but maybe that’s just France! Offered another room when we complained there was no plug but the water instantly drained out of that one too and there were no other rooms available. Nice courtyard and very close to the metro.

Really disappointed stay

We were looking forward to staying here given that it was a four star hotel however I left feeling very disappointed at how basic it was. The only saving grace was the pool which was lovely.I secured our room through booking.com and was expecting a ‘superior queen room with a queen bed a garden view’If this was a superior room then I dread to think what a standard room is!! Some of the main issues were:- Every 5/10 minutes a loud noise and vibrations could be felt from the metro which presumably runs under the hotel. Not ideal! - Our ‘garden view’ consisted of a large bush 3ft from our window. - The queen bed was two singles pushed together which obviously created a gap between us.- The room was very small (which I know is to be expected in Paris) but it was a very old fashioned decor and a pretty run down bathroom which flooded each time you went for a shower. - The kettle had to be boiled on the floor or next to your head as the cord was too short to reach the plug on the table. Our tea wasn’t replaced after day one which meant we had no breakfast tea to wake up to.- They seemed to have redirecting/renovating taking place which made the place look unsightly and noisy at times especially in the foyer.- I requested an iron to be brought to the room but instead I was told that I had to go and use the one in a staff store room next to the pool which meant I had to bring all my clothes down stairs. - Finally, I got a typical Parisian response when I raised my concerns and was told that this is normal for Paris.Amazed that this place is 4 stars. We stayed in room 103 and will not be back.
