Location

This city hotel is situated in Montparnasse. The district has a free-living atmosphere and was the home of painters in the early 20th century.     Strategic location near Gare Montparnasse. Front desk staffs were guest friendly and attentive (especially John & Armel). Simple snacks, water and coffee were complimentary (in-room & at lobby area).

    This hotel was an unexpected surprise. It is an old building which has been renovated to include modern comforts. From the initial friendly greeting in English by the man at reception whose name we can unfortunately not remember to our check out, this hotel was great. We arrived by plane and got to the hotel around 12pm. We were happy to leave our luggage so that we could go and explore but as our room was ready, we were given an early check in. This was really helpful to sort out what we needed for the rest of the day. The room was compact but had everything we needed. The little chocolates on our beds was a nice touch. The bathroom had a bath and shower, and there were robes in the cupboard for our use. There was a hairdryer which we used and an iron and ironing board which we didn't need but would have been great if we had to iron anything. The beds were comfortable and we had enough linen to keep us warm. The hotel is walking distance from Gare Montparnasse as well as a short walk to buses and the metro. We could reach everywhere we wanted to go using public transport. We stored our luggage for the day when we checked out as our train out was only later in the afternoon. There was an option of purchasing breakfast, however we wanted to be out early to see as much as we could, so we did not make use of the offer.This hotel was almost perfect, but as with all old buildings, the rooms aren't very soundproof, however for most people that would not even be something to consider. We would not let this deter us from staying here again if we were ever in Paris again.

    We stayed in two segments, splitting our visit with an overnight trip out of Paris. The hotel is very welcoming, with professional staff who go out of their way to help. Breakfast was substantial and fairly priced, overall. We appreciated the 5:30-10:00 AM breakfast hours. Room was cozy yet comfortable for three adults and a teen: bunk-beds and air conditioning were appreciated. Shower pressure was excellent and rooms were clean.Little touches were nice: free premium tea selection and hot coffee, as well as Brita water into glass cups to be sanitized later and reused — the hotel makes an effort to be eco-friendly.Would happily return. Thank you!

    Awesome Paris Vacation.

    First time in Paris and we are family of four.I’m a die hard best western customer and I’m glad we stayed at this location for our 8 days trip.Location is excellent, it’s close to Pernety metro staion which we used to travel to all tourist attractions.Breakfast at the hotel is very good. Friendly staff and they are always there to help u.There are alot of restaurants in the area , grocery store to buy your water and daiky needs. There’s also a laundromat close to the hotel.The neighborhood is safe, we had no issue walking late at night.All and all we would definitely stay here again in our future trip. Don’t look anywhere else this place is highly recommended.Thanks to all the staff , specially the front desk.

    I was in Paris for a couple days. My stay at the Best Western Bretagne Montparnasse was really pleasant. Clean rooms, great service and very polite staff!Can really recommend and will definitely visit again!
