  Where to start! Tiny room, cold half shower, super queen room joke! Only positive is it’s in Paris. My advice is find somewhere else. What’s happened to Best Western!?

  Bed bugs nightmare with rude manager

  Bed bugs showed up in our bed. We reported this to the front desk in the middle of the night. The man on the desk was actually asleep on the couch in the lobby. Told us to go back to bed as there was nothing he could do. We spent hours going through our clothing to ensure no bugs ended up in our stuff then went to speak to the day manager. He dismissed us as soon as we said it, stating they have a bed bug management system and it was impossible. Tried to gaslight us into believing it was some other bug despite pictures and clear evidence that it was bed bugs. We left the hotel and he did reluctantly refund us our two remaining nights but insisted the whole time we were wrong. He was rude and dismissive. Do not stay here if you want to avoid bedbugs!

  The hotel was quite nice. Few minor issues such as the bed side lamp being broken and some of the paper walls falling off. But this wasn’t a major inconvenience. The biggest issue was when I arrived late at night and had to wait about 10-15 mins to get someone to open the main door. You cannot unlock the main door with your room key card so this was quite annoying. The reception staff didn’t seem very happy when I came down to express my complaint regarding this issue. The location I’d say is quite average. Close ish to Notre Dame and you have the metro very close by. Bed was comfortable, the rooms on the top floor are very quiet and the view is pretty nice. Rooms are quite small; but personally, this wasn’t an issue for me. Overall: Sleep Quality: 10Staff: 7Cleaning: 9Location: 7Amenities: 5

  Very disappointing Best Western stay! Would definitely not stay here again.

  When my husband and I arrived the hotel's computer system was down so we couldn't get checked in. After several hours of waiting and a growing crowd in the lobby, the receptionist had to issue "emergency" room keys. Ours was a tiny, dark room (even by European standards) with very few lights on this dark, rainy day. Worst of all, the bathroom "shower" was just a very short 2-1/2 foot (extended) hand wand inside the tub, which made it impossible to take a decent shower or wash my hair. The hotel had no ice -- you needed to walk next door to the Bistro to get some. Breakfast offerings for our 3 night stay were mediocre. We will never stay here again.

  The hotel was very clean. Desk attendants were friendly and spoke English. Typical of French hotels, the lift was small but it worked fine. There is an area where you can purchase breakfast, but many local breakfast choices await outside the hotel. There is a little "living room" off of the lobby where we were allowed to visit with our friends and sip a bit of wine.The room had a lovely balcony and a window with a tiny balcony off the bathroom. There was a wardrobe with shelves and a closet. There was no fridge and no charging ports, you have to use the regular outlet. There was a safe in the room where we put passports and money with no problem.The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Paris, The Latin Quarter. It is situated close to 2 Metro stations. You can walk to Notre Dame, the Pantheon and the Seine. There are a lot of great restaurants on lively Rue Mouffetard. Also a farmer's market on Wednesdays and Fridays in Place Monge. There is also a very large pharmacie, Pharmacie Monge, where I bought many souvenirs.
