    Very good hotel, close to La Défense and the business district, very safe and convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious with a nice variety of choices.

    This hotel was brilliant, we didn’t realise about the city tourist tax (our fault!) but it wasn’t a lot. All the staff were incredibly friendly, the room was large, clean and comfortable with everything we needed, we were lucky enough to have a balcony and the breakfast selection was very good. The door needs a firm push / pull to make sure it’s properly closed, which can be disruptive with others guests needing to slam their doors. It’s a 10/15 minute walk from the closest metro station to take you straight in to central Paris or a nice 1.5ish hour walk, either way it’s easy and convenient and we would happily stay here again.

    The place of the hotel is very conviniced. Not far to the tram station.     AVOID SUMMER 2025. NO AC

    AVOID SUMMER 2025. AC down in whole building. Management does not know when it will be fixed. Just saw review on Google Maps from 4 days ago starting there was no AC then either. Was not notified by hotel in advance or upon arrival, despite making reservation a week ago. Management says they are waiting for a part. Loud AC from building next door, so sleeping with window open is not an option. Refrigerator in room barely cooling. Lots of construction work near Esplanade de la Defense metro station, which is closest to hotel. Despite several days of intervention by the system manufacturer, the repair took longer than expected.     Mainly for ease of car parking, we decided to stay outside central Paris – and we found the Seine West Hotel in the western suburb of Puteaux. The Seine West Hotel is part of the Best Western group, and we were delighted with our choice. The Reception staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful; the room was quiet and comfortable (great shower, too!) and the breakfast was generous. Within a two-minute walk was an underground car park, around €7 for 24 hours (yes, really!) and even nearer were a handful of restaurants – take your choice from French, Italian, Moroccan, Lebanese, African and more. All in all, a great place to stay.
