    Smelly rooms

    We stayed for 5 nights, having 2 adjacent rooms. The carpets in both rooms were extremely dirty, full of stains. The rooms also smelt bad. We asked them to do something about it several times but never got more than a promise (unfulfilled). The 4-bed family room is accessible thus has a fully open shower (no shower tray, plastic wall or curtain). The tap and the hair drier were in bad shape. Improved maintenance would be very much needed.     - a non-smoking room that smells smoke- a bath that is not a bath- a broken sink- dirty carpet in room- and, a in-bad-mood morning responsible, impolite, hitting doors, that instead of guiding, disturbs all the good staff and ... customers!     A nice hotel without Water

    I stayed there and in general it is a nice hotel, not the best one but for the price ok. Friday morning they had NO water at all, not even cold water, nothing. The only excuse was - we don't know what is happening and this was it. They did not even apologize or give a discount.I will never go there again Dominique J, Gérant at Campanile Argenteuil, responded to this review Dear guest,we are sorry for the inconvenience you had during your stay,the véolia service cutt off the water without warning us that day,as they were doing street work next door.we could have welcomed all our gusts,but we are also suprised to see the incident.we hope to welcome you in better conditions soon.best regards

    I don't normally leave reviews, as I do not have enough time and a hotel is a hotel. This hotel does what it needs to, fairly clean (though the room smelt of smoke) and fairly well priced despite location outside of Paris. Breakfast, average. I have had worse for sure.However, when I was there, there was no water on the morning I was leaving. Fine. It happens, though really, this sort of stuff should be managed and dealt with quickly by a hotel, whose soul purpose is to make hospitality function.But when your staff appear to not care at all, then this is when you have a problem. If I (and many others) come to speak to the reception about there being no water and the reception appear pissed off and angry at the question being asked, then you have a BIG problem. If you want to run a hotel, you need to be able to hire people who can do their job. Reception is customer facing, don't let them act like they don't care. Hospitality and travel services have problems they experience, your customers get that, but it is how you deal with these problems that counts.As long as everything is functioning, this hotel is ok. Otherwise, don't expect many of the staff to care too much about you being there.At least our company does not travel to Paris much and require accommodation. Oh wait. We do. Regular customers lost. Don't want a refund, don't want an apology, just do your job.     Nice Hotel!

    I stayed in this hotel only 2 nights (April/18) and it is a nice hotel for a short stay.Breakfast is nice and the location is around 30 min to main attractions in Paris (around 40 euros - Ulber).
