    Don't judge this hotel by its outside appearance

    Spent one night here on the way from Paris to Mont-St. Michel. The hotel was within easy access to the toll highway. Friendly front desk staff who spoke English well and gave us a room on the first floor as requested. Don't judge the hotel by it's outside appearance. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room, which was small as any European hotels, but it was modern, well designed and even had a bathtub! The bed was firm and comfortable. Quiet at night. We didn't buy the breakfast buffet package but it looked well stocked. We will stay here again.     Basic, Friendly & Convenient but they forgot to clean our room

    If you are in Epone for business, this is a friendly and cheerful hotel to be based in. They don't offer much, just the basic, sufficient for a business trip. However, there was one day the cleaner just came in to repllace the towels and left, without emtying the trash, making the bed or cleaning the room. I was surprised. They can at least ensure a cleaner and more comfortable environment for their guests. Pillows are relatively flat. They could have given at least 2 pillows per guest in the room.     Very nice and quiet hotel for short bussines trip

    I have stayed in Campanile for few days during bussines trip to France, Staff were nice and friendly, rooms clean (very warm) bfast was nice and tasty, Free Parking. not too happy that there were two single beds in rooms instead of one double which was not to comfortable nut overally was ok.     I have stayed here a number of times this year due to work commitments. This hotel is perfect for my requirements and ticks most if not all boxes.The reception staff speak English and are very helpful.The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and are always clean.     This is no a bad motel, not at all. It has comfortable beds, is clean, has a good breakfast and is located conveniently close to an exit of the motorway. That is, compared to other types of places of this kind it is perfectly fine. And is priced very reasonableHowever, if I need to compare it to another hotel in any kind of city it is a whole different ball game, which is probably not really fair to Campanile Epone. The surroundings offer basically nothing. When we got out of the room in the morning we could have stepped in dog poo, that was left on the walk way past the rooms on the second floor. This may indeed say more about the people that stay at the motel, than the quality of the motel itself. So the conclusion is - everything depends on what you compare it to.
