    The most racist hotel I ever stayed in

    The most racist place I ever visitedWe stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, a group of 57 Romanians and we were treated horrible. The personnel of the hotel is a disgrace. We payed for breakfast, were given a separate room, so we did not stay with the other guests of the hotel. They said that people eat much at breakfast. Of course, when you have 57 persons coming in the morning, you know what to expect. They said the coffee machine was out of work. And gave us a glass half empty of juice. It was humiliating. Shame on you! A disgrace of a hotel and stuff!

    We reserved two rooms for one night in early June 2023. Overall, the stay was good. The rooms are clean. The rooms are motel-style. The breakfast buffet was good. And the rooms were very affordable. We chose this location because it is relatively close to the Chateau Vaux Le Vicomte (which I highly recommend).

    The staff is incredibly friendly and accomadating, which is the best part of the hotel. While we were walking towards the room, we noticed all the doors were wide open. Upon entering the room, we understood why. The room was incredibly nasty, it smelled like years of accumulated old sweat. I seriously doubt the hygiene of the hotel. The shutters only went down halfway, which was quite annoying because during the night time, there is a bright orange light directly in front of your window. Our room was one of the few that had that problem though. The airconditioning worked, albeit a bit loud. I would definitely recommend to spend a little bit more on a better room.

    The hotel forgot to send me the entry code to the room either by email or text and left no functioning number to call. As a consequence, slept in the car. Hotel management not particularly sympathetic. Avoid them and use B&B instead which is more professional.

    Requested early check-in which was granted. Room was damp and cold. Older looking hotel with basic rooms. Only one bath towel each - no hand towels, no Kleenex and minimum toilet paper. Two small single beds which had clean bed linens. Internet is OK. Coffee kettle with coffee and tea available in room. Flat screen TV with only French speaking stations. Pet friendly.
