  ⚠️Seriously UNACCEPTABLE treatment⚠️I Booked 3 nights at this hotel for my best friends Birthday & to attend an event on Fri 6th❗️Upon arrival (Thu 5/6/25) I provided my booking details to check-in & was informed we had no booking❗️The Receptionist was extremely rude ❗️He Refused to acknowledge the proof of my booking or that a partial payment had been taken from my account before arrival❗️He lied repeatedly that I didn't book or that I had cancelled❗️ I desperately tried to resolve the problem even asking if I could book another room❗️Was told no as the hotel was fully booked yet rooms shown as available online❗️His tone was very aggressive & we eventually had to leaveTurning us away for absolutely no reason was very distressing and dangerous! It was just the two of us (both female)It was our first time in Paris and first holiday together We had no way to arrange transportWe were then forced to search for another hotel and fortunately we eventually found oneWe then had no option but to walk to it which was difficult to navigate, it was also late at night making the situation very unsafe for usThis has never happened to me before and I still find it unbelievable that it did. Not only putting us at risk but for this to happen on a Birthday trip was so disappointing and upsettingThis hotel advertises friendly and helpful staff - False advertising!I am also still awaiting a response from the hotel and my refundSJ Manager Manager, Directeur général at Hotel Campanile Pantin, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your review.We are sorry that our services did not meet your expectations.   Dirty Room

  I know this hotel is a cheap budget chained hotel but the cleaning standards here are awful, one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The carpet despite it being a dark brown colour was completely black in the middle section from how dirty it was, I dread to think how many years of dirty was on it. It was the first hotel room ever that I have refused to walk bare footed on due to how dirty it was. The very low down bedsides were chipped and bashed and so were the skirting boards too to go along with it. The desk in my room was all scratched and the paint was flaking off the light switches too. The bed wasn't very comfortable and I didn't get much sleep due to the fear of potential bed bugs due to the poor cleanliness of the room and also reading some reviews about the bed bug history of the hotel. Breakfast was okay but not worth the full price of 15 euros.   Uncomfortable stay in a rough area

  Advertise early check in but they would not let us check in early, even by half an hour!! They literally would not budge on the check in time. Very rough area and didn’t feel safe walking on the streets. Sirens all night long. The beds were loose and slid around the floor! Very small beds, only one pillow. Air conditioning did not work, room was awfully hot and not able to reach the window to open it. Staff told me it was because it’s winter so air conditioning is switched off?! That didn’t make sense. The fan blew hot air! Staff helpful and friendly otherwise.   Good hotel, good location, good pice

  The hotel is situated outside a subway station (Hoche) which makes it accessible. Beside it is a small mall and a lot of restaurants. Room is clean. Receptionist at the front desk are helpful. Just a scare during my stay since even with my Do Not Disturb sign placed in my door, guests still tried to open the door around 1am. And what's more scary is, even with my door double locked, they managed to open it. Good thing I was awaken and stood next to the door and slammed it shut when it opened. I called the front desk and the receptionist said "There was a mistake". I guess it meant that he gave my room to another guest and that guest was stupid enough to try to open the door even with a DND sign placed. Good thing it happened in my last night, I was not able to sleep soundly anymore after that incident. But it really did not ruin my stay. I will still stay in the hotel. My suggestion though is to place a chain lock to ensure more privacy and safety so that when a similar situation occurs, the chain lock will still prevent the door from opening.   the wifi is absolutely terrible. you can connect to it and even connected to the wifi nothing works!! i mean come on.. its constantly never working. everything else is pretty good but fix your wifi…..
