  Friendly staff but the hotel was not as expected.

  First of all the team at the reception was very kind an helpfull. On Trip advisor it was stating that the hotel did have AC in the rooms. They where not working on any room.Bathroom was dirty. For me a one-timer.RoomsIt was stated on tripadvisor that the hotel had air-conditioning available in the rooms, however this was not the case. windows could not open very far to still get some fresh air In the room. I had a double room with two single beds of which I found hair in one bed luckily I had another bed available that I could lie in. The bed was not comfortable. the rain shower In the bathroom was a hard jet because it was far from decalcified so it did not function properly. The kit around the bath contained large amounts of mould clearly visible from the black spots around the bath. The toilet seat was loose and the toilet itself was very dirty. I also wonder if this rroom had actually been cleaned.Food & drinksBreakfast was sparse. There was baguette available and chocolate rolls and croissants besides some yoghurt and fruit and if you wanted to put something on your bread there was only ham and two different cheeses available. If you wanted an egg you could boil it yourself. Again, there was no timer available to get your eggs out in time. For juice, only orange juice was available. The coffee was okay.   I recently had a wonderful stay with my friend/s at Campanile Paris Ouest - Nanterre - La Défense. I want to highlight the excellent customer service that allowed me to change my booking to a twin room without any extra charge. The staff responded promptly, and within a day or so, our request was fulfilled, which was a pleasant surprise and put me at peace heading to my trip.I appreciated the convenient fridge at the reception, especially when we arrived on a hot day, it was a thoughtful amenity that made my stay even more enjoyable.Overall, my experience at Campanile Paris Ouest - Nanterre - La Défense was truly delightful. The flexible room change and the convenient amenities made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and accommodating stay in Nanterre, France. PS: The location is a 10-15 minute walk from the closest station.   You get what you pay for. Campanile Nanterre is a low budget hotel and does not pretend otherwise. It was clean and everything worked. Breakfast had moderate selection. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is next door to a nice public park. It is also within an easy bus ride of La Défense.   terrible service, very rude staff

  the staff member was very rude, breakfast was late, when a customer complained, the manager shouted and said "you only paid 10 euro for your breakfast, what do you want. if you cannot wait, i don't need your 10 euro" worse hotel i ever stayed. avoid this hotel if possible.
