  This hotel is posting on their site shuttle from and to airport but they have them only from 06,00am to 09,00am and 06,00pm to 09,00pm . I f you arrived between that you,ll have to take a cab 30 euros

  Look no further for overnight CDG layover

  We had a 10 hour layover at CDG and did not have the energy to go into the city after a long trip. This was a super clean, affordable, convenient option for us. There is even a nice bar/restaurant connected to the hotel. The shuttle service to the airport has a fee and drops you off at only one terminal which is 3. We just had to walk about ten minutes to our terminal. Overall we had what we needed from this option.

  Where should I start. This is what I get for getting suckered in to affordable hotel. Save yourself the stress and upgrade to a slight pricier hotel. I shot myself on the foot for booking here for 6 nights. Ok let's start with the staff shall we? As a non french speaking ( American ) I can get by with some. At first I thought the front desk manager ( Jennifer ) was a bit stand offish. I traveled with a group of 3 and it's been an exhausting day. We got in around close to 12 hoping our room would be ready. NOPE we have to wait until 2. It's a bit disappointing, she did not make an effort to at least try and check if our room is ready, you have tired guest who are ready to relax from a long flight. I did notice though that French guest are a priority, some arrived early and was immediately given to check in. Hmmmm.... Please DO NOT email your guest to check in online early & to find out we will have to wait. Let's keep going shall we? The rooms.. The sheet smelt like it hasn't been change from the last guest who stayed in our room. It smelt musty and wet ( Gross ) the floor is disgusting as you can see in the picture. Air conditioner barely worked thank god there's a big window to air out all that smell and MOIST room. The most disappointing of them all the beds.. it's all sunk in. It felt like there was a 600 pound person who laid there for months. Pillows are so tiny it was flat as a board. Overall this was a very uncomfortable experience for me ( sleepless nights ) BEWARE Shuttle, gym, breakfast & dinner is not free, you're better booking an Uber to the airport so you won't miss your flight. Campanile Le Mesnile Amelot - please do a thorough inspection of your rooms to make sure it exceeds a descent comfortable stay for your guests. Also being kind comes a long way. ( A proper training ) with your staff will elevate the experience of your hotel.

  This hotel is hip and trendy with a nice reception and staff. It gets 2/5 because of quite a few factors. Let’s start with checking in. We arrived a little earlier than we planned, like and hour and a half. The hotel was not busy and we asked for an early check in. The answer was a flat no and we had to wait until 5 minutes before normal check in. There was no trying to see if there was an equal room available, no coordination with the cleaning staff to see if they could push up a room for us, no attempt to accommodate. Once we got checked in the room was colorful and comfortableish. It had the look of being recently updated, if your idea of updating is throwing a coat of paint on old, broken and outdated furniture. The bed was…… old and very broken in, so broken in I could feel the imprints on the bed where a bear laid for what I can assume to be a whole winter hibernation. There was no in room coffee only in room tea kettle and paper cups. Next let’s go to the on site services. Every other hotel we stayed at for this trip had a small but delicious breakfast. You have to pay €14,90 per person even if you just want to get coffee. It’s buffet style and the food is eatable and basic. We tried to get food out as much as possible because it was a better deal and tasted way better. I was the only one who was hungry enough to try the dinner buffet, it was slightly better than the breakfast buffet. The staff was insanely friendly and helpful but it was hard to communicate in English (yes it’s France but this is right next to CDG and it’s not their first language but my limited French can only take me so far. We selected here because we thought it would be easier to communicate the closer we were to a major airport). Now to the amenities. They advertise their amenities. But it’s pay to play. They tout a sauna and hammam, but they don’t tell you that you have to reserve it 24hrs in advance and it’s €15. Of you are looking for a place for a long stay (we stayed 6 days) I’d suggest the other side of CDG or closer to central Paris but for a night or two make sure you rent a car if you want to head down into Paris.

  We were allocated to this hotel after a cancelled flight- please do not actively choose to stay in this hotel as there are just so many bad aspects to it. Staff throughout the hotel are rude including getting a tray tossed at me during breakfast service. Breakfast itself was below average with small selection of cheese/ meat and a boiled egg? The rooms were tiny with the worst one pillow on offer and the carpets were so dirty you felt like you need to keep your shoes on. Was never so pleased to leave and head back to the airport!
