    Lovely hotel, great location, staff lovely but… say we can check in from 2pm. We are only here for 2 days, one night so sightseeing as soon as we arrive, travel to hotel to check in - ‘no rooms available’ on system!!!! Sitting in bar til it is sorted out… 40 mins later we are still waiting, eating in to our limited time here, no apologies, no complimentary drinks/food etc desperate to check in, ditch stuff, get back out there exploring but instead here waiting waiting waiting 😢

    Our room on the 14th floor was clean and adequate for a one night stay before our early morning departure from Gare de Lyon which is a very short walk away. However, having the double bed squashed against the window so one person had no option but to climb over the other to get in and out of bed was really unnecessarily mean with space for a modern tower block - I'm used to tiny room in old Parisian buildings but this was really too tight for space!

    Budget Priced and Very Friendly Staff

    I had never stayed at a CitizenM Hotel before so it came as a bit of a surprise as to how it all works. It is budget friendly with a bit of quality in some ways and cut price in others. I was taken back by the check-in process being all iPads with large table (no desk) but it works. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, but very small. The hotels facilities as far as lounge/bar, computer/media area were fabulous. I can see how the concept works. The breakfast was very good, and they have proper trained baristas - winning!!! The location was awful. I chose it as I needed to get the train, but it was so far from anything else. Having said that, I had an easy walk to Gare de Lyon Station after checking out.

    An adorable, "kitchy" kinda place! Very close to metro underground [which we easily learned to use daily, even with transferring lines!], conveniently located; felt very safe walking back to our hotel in the evenings once it was dark. Rooms clean, sparse, & quiet. Excellent room service twice during our 7-day stay. Great value @ significantly lower price compared to other nearby hotels. Breakfast delicious; canteen available for purchasing snacks. 1 minor setback: Though a small closet to hang some clothes, there was insufficient drawer space, so we needed to use our suitcases as a "drawer". That said, we still highly recommend citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon for all the other reasons we've noted here.

    This is our fave place to stay when we come to Paris. This was our 3rd stay here and Lavinnia still remembered us! We really enjoy the lounge/bar after a long day walking around Paris. Some names need to be dropped here Lavinnia, Kika, Florian and Nassib for going out of their way and making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet is worth every penny! The rooms are small but very very comfy! We will most def be back! Thank you!!!
