  Shocking Service – Especially for Families. Manager Completely Useless. If you have a child, Avoid This Hotel!

  We travelled from the UK to France with our 8-month-old baby and booked a 1-bedroom apartment through Revolut. Our confirmation email clearly stated 1 bedroom, 2 adults + 1 baby. We paid in full. But when we arrived, the hotel’s system showed a studio. Instead of helping us resolve their mistake, the manager insisted that “the system is correct,” completely ignoring the written confirmation we had.What followed was 4 hours of waiting in the lobby with an exhausted baby, dealing with a manager and receptionist that was untrained, uninterested, and absolutely not willing to help. They refused to provide a proper solution, even refused extra pillows or blankets, and refused to take responsibility for the booking error. They offered us to sleep in one bed with our baby plus 2 adults, it’s against to safety rules for a baby!! The manager was unprofessional, unhelpful, dismissive, and frankly not capable of doing his job. His attitude made an already stressful situation much worse.We were essentially forced to pay for an additional room because they gave us no other option. After hours of waiting, not a single staff member showed basic hospitality or competence. The workers didn’t know what they were doing, nobody communicated properly, and the manager acted like he couldn’t care less about a stranded family with a baby.Our baby became extremely tired and distressed because of the unacceptable delay caused by their negligence. This is NOT just bad service, it’s unethical, irresponsible, and absolutely not family-friendly.This hotel clearly does not care about guests, especially families travelling with young children.Avoid City Residence Ivry at all costs. The management is incompetent, the staff is untrained, and the service is shockingly poor. We will never return and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

  Good place, but water system needs changing

  It was good stay in a good location, however water system needs changing. The hot water ran out one evening, and when we spoke to the receptionist the next morning, they stated that there was only a limited amount of hot water per day, and because we showered in the morning, we wouldn’t be able to shower in the evening. I’ve never heard of such thing and I felt an unwillingness to help from the reception. For that my overall rate is 3.

  Shopping facilities, puplic transport, and restaurants are quite close to the hotel. The price/quality ratio is OK

  The apartment was clean though it could do with a minor renovation. The reception is open only on specific hours and it is not clear what those hours are on Sunday: the information given in the booking email, on the doors of the residence, and on the information paper given during check-in is different. We hoped to leave our luggage there in the morning before check-in, let the residency know about it in the arrival survey, and arrived at a time when the reception was supposed to be open, but there was nobody there and calling all of the listed phone numbers didn't help. The reception was however open in the afternoon even earlier than advertised.

  My stay was very long well I didn’t have room service till I left maybe it’s because I didn’t ask of it maybe next time they can just do it themselves but other than that the service was very good really good service
