  A cozy and friendly hotel in a perfect place in Paris

  The hotel is a cozy place, there are some defects, of course, but they also give the romantic atmosphere you want to have in Paris. The room was great, big enough for our family of 3 people. The kitchen in the room is a great plus if you have children and want to cook something w/o going out for lunch or dinner. The cooling system was perfect and, with a good window, allowed our room to be cool. The bath was renewed and well done. Special positive comment for the bed, very, very comfortable. A few things to improve: better dust cleaning (cooling system and heater in the bath have dust), especially for allergic people, and I suggest improving the ventilator in the bath, not sure if all the humidity will be taken out; it can cause damage to the wall in the long run. Last but most important: the hotel employees are GREAT, they were very kind and supported us in any needs. Thanks a lot.

  stayed 4 nights with our grand son in a family room (1). this was a last minute resort after our flat at booking. com was cancelled ubruptly .. our room here was spacious , and had everything you needed. it needs urgent painting and renovating, but, it served us good. continental breakfast was very nice. above all, the very kind, wellcoming stuff all over, made the differnce!

  Sunday May 31, around 3pm. We arrived at this hotel, listed as a Stasher partner, to drop off an envelope containing keys, service booked and paid for online, retrieval code provided, instructions followed to the letter. First thing upon arrival: glad we weren't staying there. The entrance is frankly run-down and the reception desk in complete disarray.First obstacle: the receptionist told us he only accepts bags, not envelopes. No mention of this restriction anywhere on the Stasher app. Fair enough, we put the envelope in a bag to comply with his request, no argument.He then agreed to take it, but specified it would be "at our own risk." At that point, having discovered my friend spoke Portuguese, he launched, completely unprompted, into a monologue about how nothing works in France, how the French don't know what work is, and how we should go to the US to see what real work looks like. To two customers who had just done exactly what he asked.I rarely take the time to leave a review. But when an experience is this bad and the behavior this insulting, it's worth flagging, especially since other comments seem to point to the same receptionist.A lack of warmth, fine. But unprompted insults, unnecessary aggression, and ultimately a paid service through their Stasher partnership that was never delivered. If this hotel has no intention of honoring its partners' services, it simply shouldn't be one.

  The hotel staff had both the will and the ability to create a pleasant setting for the visit: the service was active and everything worked perfectly. The hotel was clean throughout and the bathrooms were recently renovated. The hotel's location in terms of cultural attractions and metro stations was excellent. However, it was not expensive, although of course not the cheapest either.

  I've stayed here previously, quiet room, ok breakfast. A colleague had to change rooms due to unacceptable burn mark on a bed. When going out for an early morning run I was asked repeatedly for my room number. I assured the staff I was a guest of the hotel, and that I had my room key as another staff member held up a room card rudely asking me for my room number again and again. Finally they noted it was in case something happened to me. Serious lack of respect and courtesy despite best intentions.
