  Great room… but apparently water is now a luxury item

  Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Paris Versailles and overall it was a very good stay. The room was modern, spotless, and comfortable, the bed was excellent, and the reception staff were genuinely nice and friendly. Quiet, efficient, and exactly what you’d expect from a good 4-star corporate hotel.But the water situation really annoyed me.No complimentary drinking water in the room. Instead, there’s a note telling you to go to the corridor to refill a reusable bottle — and if you don’t have one, you can buy one from reception. This is presented as an “environmental initiative”.Let’s be honest: this feels less about saving the planet and more about saving money while using the environment as a convenient excuse. If it were genuinely eco-driven, they’d put a reusable glass bottle of filtered water and a couple of glasses in the room. Simple.After a long day of travel, I don’t fancy a treasure hunt down the corridor in my pyjamas — especially when there’s nothing in the room to actually put the water in unless you’ve already bought a bottle from reception.So: great room, comfy bed, friendly staff, good overall experience — but the water policy is a needless irritant and feels penny-pinching rather than planet-saving. Fix that and this would be an easy 5-star stay. As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we have eliminated single-use water bottles from our rooms, as many of our guests travel with refillable bottles. We have additionally installed water fountains near the elevators for convenience. Our Front Desk offers the option to purchase refillable bottles that guests can use during their stay and beyond in case needed, along with the option of regular water bottles (glass). Each of our rooms is also equipped with two glasses as part of our standard amenities.   Luxury hotel with attention to detail

  Everything about this hotel room is 5 star! Roomy - lots of room to relax. Large comfy bed and beautiful clean bathroom. There’s so many details that make this stay truly home away from home. Luxury room amenities.Special thank you to the incredible Marriott team especially Sateaurelie. She made our check-in extra special. I appreciate her calling our room once we settled in, to ensure everything was ok. 5-star service.6 minute walk to the Metro. Nice and safe neighborhood. Easy to get around Paris from this hotel. Book a stay here now, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

  Great value and a nice area to stay in. Not in the downtown core of Paris, but situated a bit outside with a bit of a friendlier atmosphere. Food choices around the area were varied, and the room sizes are large and spacious. Stayed here during Paris fashion week and had a great time!

  We stayed here for 3 nights as a family and were in the Junior Suite. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable, smooth and nothing was too much trouble for the front desk. All the team were very helpful, polite and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant and bar team were very helpful, professional and welcoming too. As you can tell from my reviews, we have stayed in Marriotts all across the world, and this property was on par and excellent, very clean, fast lifts, and also had a small snack shop located just by the bar. A very handy supermarket next door, good choices of restaurants just opposite and the neighborhood was quiet, clean and safe. We had a hire car so we didn’t experience the Metro, but saying that nothing was too far, for example the Eiffel Tower was around 20 mins drive and Pont Neuf was around 25 mins. We will definitely return and stay again. Thank you !
