Not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel during peak pricing

    rating28 Apr 2026

Stayed here during Comic Con mainly because of the location, which is very convenient for walking to the event. At first glance, the hotel looks decent. However, the overall experience does not match what you would expect from a 4-star property—especially considering the price increase to €449 for the final night (compared to ~€165 before). The rooms are quite basic:* No in-room safe* No proper closed wardrobe* Small and warm rooms* Limited sound insulationThese are features I would consider standard for a hotel in this category. There were also several issues during the stay, including bathroom cleanliness, inconsistent room preparation, and limited amenities.Service and facilities were also below expectations. The restaurant was closed for much of the weekend, and breakfast was not well maintained. There were also some hygiene concerns (e.g. fruit flies). What stood out most was that the overall stay simply did not feel comfortable and fell short of what you would reasonably expect from a 4-star hotel. Finally, the handling of the complaint afterwards was disappointing. Both the hotel and Golden Tulip / Louvre Hotels Group responded with standard replies, without addressing the imbalance between price and experience. Conclusion:Good location, but not a 4-star experience—especially at peak prices.

Hotel with more problems than stars.

    rating04 Apr 2026

My spouse and I stayed at this hotel for an event at the Villepinte Exhibition Centre. Ideally located if you are planning an activity in this park. Refurbished the hotel looks consistent with photos, clean, tastefully decorated, nothing to say.On the other hand, it must be believed that the works have only served to camouflage misery. Indeed, sound insulation, thermal insulation, electrical system and piping: nothing works. To begin with, we'll talk about the room: Or should I say THE rooms since during our first night we had to move. And for good reason, quietly in the shower the reception knocks on our door telling us that our shower leaks into the room below. It seems that the water seeped directly into the ceiling waking up our neighbors below at 11:30 p.m., evoking the soft sound of a waterfall, pleasant but not ideal when your ceiling comes to drip on your things. The concierge told us to “come back in 5 minutes”, came out in a disaster with all our luggage we waited 15min on the landing of our room before going downstairs ourselves to the reception to hope to be reaccommodated before falling asleep on the carpet of the hallway. The new room in which we were installed was almost identical to the first one with a few ready details: no hair dryer, despite the equipment being noted on their site, a broken bathroom bin, a leaking shower, a window with draft option: since the air seeped on the sides allowing aeration of the room permanently, great so that the air circulates a little less when you have to wear a sweater continuously. The shower, in addition to the leak, also made us discover new sensations: a surprising alternation of hot and cold. You have to be reactive to turn the shower head away from yourself before being watered with frozen water in the middle of a good hot shower. The television, apparently very well, is finally as disappointing as the bathroom. YouTube, Netflix, Disney+: full of apps, yet none that works, and no way to cast.So we were forced to spend our evenings in front of action investigation, not distasteful me finally good.To finish on the bedroom, only 1 wardrobe is available and only 5 hangers in the closet so did not take too much business otherwise they will stay in the suitcase.Let's talk cleanliness: the room is clean when we arrive, coffee and tea available. On the other hand for spending 3 nights there the bed was redone but the sheets unchanged, towels were put back in the bathroom but the old ones remained hung on the door. A feeling of cleaning done at least. A new topic: elevators. They only work thanks to the hotel map. Dozens of minutes spent in the elevator waiting for him to finally accept the card, sometimes without results. Or sometimes the elevator simply refuses to climb. Although the 6-storey ascent is beneficial for a summer body, it’s not what you hope to do after a day of walking. The problem being reported to the concierge he greets us by blowing, a pleasant moment. In short, in summary a generally friendly hotel for a short time but a 4 star not sure. Originally submitted in French on www.tripadvisor.fr. View originals.

    Lamentable

Lamentable! This hotel is a disaster:No one has the reception at any time, no phone in the rooms to contact them and if you call the number indicated on the yellow pages with your phone no one answers. The rooms are tiny and dirty. The shower seal was broken and it was leaking into the bathroom we had to sponge with towels. This reported problem was not resolved on day 2. The towels were not replaced and when we asked for new ones there were no more.TV's not working, router problem. We waited 45 minutes at the restaurant before our order was taken and when the dishes were delivered they were cold and bad.The breakfast buffet served until 10 am is empty from 9.30 am and it is very difficult to have clean dishes! In short everything is deplorable Originally submitted in French on www.tripadvisor.fr. Better to avoid

    rating19 Jun 2025

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, with a welcoming and well-kept entrance hall, enriched with flavored water available to guests. However, the overall experience did not live up to expectations. Upon check-in, the reception turned out to be rather cold: a smile would certainly improve the approach. Furthermore, despite the fact that the booking was corporate, a security deposit of 150 euros per room was required. The assigned room showed signs of ageing, both in the furnishings and in the bathroom, which needed renovation. Another disappointing aspect was the happy hour advertised in the lobby: although we went to the bar to take advantage of it, we were told that the offer was not valid during the fair days, without it being indicated anywhere, and in rather unfriendly ways. Finally, I point out that outdoor parking has an additional cost of 12 euros.
