  As an independent travel agent, I booked this hotel for my brother and his colleague for a work trip. They needed to be near Notre Dame Cathedral so the location was perfect! They absolutely loved their stay and said the staff were so nice and friendly. I love the decor of this hotel, and they said it had a lovely atmosphere. In the evening, there was a singing pianist entertaining in the lobby area, which I thought was a lovely touch. The hotel had also left a nice welcome platter in the room for my brother on request. They went above and beyond.

  The location is superb for authentic Paris: on a pedestrian street that was lively during the day but peaceful at night, it was 5 mins walk to the Marais, 15 mins to Notre Dame and the arrondissements of the real Paris. Also surrounded by fabulous French restaurants in the streets surrounding Les Halles. The hotel staff were amazing, from the owner Philippe, to Paul and Jan, kind with always time to chat and advise on the best places to eat and options that were not in the guide books. The atmosphere is Parisian chic with decor to match enhanced by the recent addition of live music in the evenings especially over a glass of wine. We would return in a heartbeat not only because the hotel is so good but also there is so much more to explore.

  We had a really lovely stay here, checked out this weekend and couldn’t fault the hotel at all.Room was clean and spacious with bottles of water left out ready for us. Cleaned daily and despite the negative reviews about the noise we were facing to the street and did not hear much noise. Check in was a little tricky they were unable to find our booking for a while despite showing them the confirmation and having everything to hand.The let down was the last day / check out day. We left our bags with them as we weren’t leaving Paris until the evening and check out is 11am.We returned a few hours later and were handed 2 out of the 4 bags we left. One of which had a work laptop and phone in which was unable to be located.After allowing us to check the luggage room ourselves we found the bag. However we were still missing the 4th bag which had valuable / expensive items in. I am aware leaving your bags with the hotel can be a risk but when you’re paying for a high service and the luggage room is key fobbed you would not expect anything to go ‘missing’ .After being told we must have left the bag in Paris and lost it ourselves we asked to see the CCTV. Which showed we did in fact leave the bag with them. Despite this they still tried to say they couldn’t find it. It took a while of back and forth until my partner went back into the room and started pulling cases out and found it stuffed under a case with the bag ripped open. We were given an apology however still charged 70 euros for leaving our bags there for 2 hours I would have expected this not to be charged.One more negative is that the hotel took 150 euros out of our account without telling us. We asked the next morning what it was and was told it was the deposit however there was no mention of this verbally or via email..Due to this, I don’t think I would go back but the location, cleanliness and rooms are good.

  In a lovely location of Paris, this little gem did not disappoint. We chose this as it was slightly away from main crowds and the disturbance that’s happening in the city. What an excellent choice. Limited menu but all was cooked superbly. My flank of steak was as good as any I’ve tasted. Even the puddings hit the spot. With attentive staff, great food and a price that is no where near what the standard deserves, but glad it is. This place should be the busiest place in Paris. All round perfection
