    Cozy and cheap hotel

    rating20 Aug 2025

I stayed here with my family and we had a fine staying, the rooms were pretty clean and tidy and we found everything we were looking for (considering the cheap price). The staff was very kinda and the breakfast was pretty good. The only flaw is probably the hotel's location cause it is pretty far from the city centre so consider taking the metro to reach the main attractions

single room and lowest rate in the area, otherwise...

    rating19 Jul 2025

July 2025 Single room ensuite around 85 euro incl city tax and breakfastReally only availability for that budget (young traveller) therefore no choice.... a 1 night stop over for an early departure the following morning...it can work. Polite staff. No AC, breakfast time to be fixed at arrival as the "menu" - but in those days...can't ask more for the price paid .... That's the main matter...rates. On that day - in the area - it was the only affordable option for a solo traveller and we'd like to reward it.Chain hotels only have double rooms and the cost is the same for 1 or 2 guests. And single rooms aren't so frequent to find. No budget problems...then ok...certainly choose another accomodation ...otherwise, if yr wallet is tiny... there's no reason to spend a lot when you just need a place to sleep some hours. This place isn't a charming hotel where you aim to spend several days...it's just a lowcost spot to overnight.October 2024, same area, a better hotel, double room for 2 at 125 euro (included city tax and breakfast) but price very much depends on the calendar/season/availability - book in advance if possible because sometimes even hotels as this one can be quite more expensive and ...at a higher cost...not.

Chilly two nights stay here in the beginning of February.

    rating07 Feb 2025

Came here for three nights and to go to a concert at New Morning. Previously I stayed in the same block at Hotel Jarry, but that was a very simple hotel. Hoped this would be better. Room was ok with a 140 bed, small fridge, safe and windows to open. The radiator didn´t work and the room was chilly. And it was cold outside. Shower was small, but it worked. The toilet was tucked into a very small space so I could barely fit in there, and I am a medium sized woman. Wash basin so small so couldn´t wash my face there. Standard is simple, but the bed was good.Arriving back my second evening I asked a man in reception about the heating. He tried to fix the radiator, but no luck. After 30 minutes he came back and handed me an extra duvet - with stains and hair on. Did not use it. Could feel I have got a cold now. Tried to warm myself in the bed and booked my last night stay at Hotel Chateau d´Eau. Two blocks away and it was fantastic!Next morning in the reception I met the person I think is responsible for the hotel. I said I have one last night here but checking out now because the room is so cold! He started talking about fixing this but I interrupted him, said au revoir and left. Done with this hotel!I am a very frequent traveller and I would only recommend this hotel to those looking for something for a budget during the summer months.

    Nice exterior

    rating08 Sept 2024

This hotel is on a busy street near the train station. It is a 5 minute walk. The room is small with a single bed. There is coffee and tea making facility in the room. I would recommend this as it is a bit less expensive at only 72 euros for the night. The city tax is 3.25 euros which is a bit steep. There was also a fridge in the room.

A simple hotel with superb hospitality

    rating23 Jun 2024

Stayed here over the weekend and I found the hotel to be in a good location. Near to the metro etc. The hotel is small and simple. It is not luxury but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Crazy weekend with the music festival so the street was very noisy. The element that would have me return is the cost and the most wonderful hospitality of Yaz the owner. An amazing guy who makes you feel very at home. Perfect place when you just need a good bed and spend the day enjoying the wonders of Paris.
