    No Frills, Great Location

    rating25 Apr 2019

The price, location, and friendliness of staff were the best qualities of this hotel. I had stayed here for 4 nights with my partner. If you are coming to Paris to enjoy the city and only use a hotel for sleep and getting ready, this will suit you fine. The room at a TV, but that was about it for amenities. We had a room on the 5th floor which had a balcony, which was a huge plus. Our bathroom was not as bad as we saw in some reviews here, however there was some need of repair due to moisture effecting the paint/walls (the vent fan was not working it appeared). Our real complaint would be that there was no WiFi in the room, it is only available in the Lobby. This would be a must need improvement for the hotel being the necessity of WiFi in this day and age. It's an old building in Paris, and you get what you pay for to be in Paris. Again if you just need a hotel to rest after enjoying the city, it is in a great location with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and boulangeries within a 5 minute walk. Additionally, it is located close to the metro.

    Awful

The worst hotel ever I have been. Avoid!!! The shower cabin just a ridiculous! Didnt even want to go there (see the picture). I absolutely agree that the place is good and its only 6km from the Eifel tower. But common guys.. you didn't even deserve 1 star hotel. Check your rooms and espeacially bathrooms before you put this on the website.

Too pricey for a 2 star hotel

    rating29 Nov 2018

Plus points: We were given a ground floor room on request as we had a small baby and was easier with the pram on finding out how small the lift was. So the room was a disabled access room which meant we had a fairly large room as well as a separate toilet and shower room. Was perfect for us. We also had 24 hr access to the microwave which meant we could easily sterilise bottles for baby. Plenty of sockets available to charge our phones and boil our kettle (we had brought one with us, hotel does not provide) There was a 24 hr reception so if we needed anything there was always someone there which was good to know. Very close to the metro and local amenities.Minus points: The cot provided was of very poor quality unusable for any baby. We would never put our baby in such a thing. It looked like it had been brought from a dump site with no mattress inside and surrounded with holes in the netting and burn marks. Breakfast was just a disgrace, completely cold and had to pay extra! On top of the overpriced room they expect guests to pay extra for cold croissant and bread and a cold cup of coffee and juice. The simplest of breakfasts and we paid extra for that. Luckily we just agreed that we'd try it for just one morning then the next we went out to eat. There was dust on the lighting by the bed and walls.

Good location, nice staff, terrible amenities

    rating12 Nov 2018

This hotel is in serious need of renovation. The room was small, but the worst part was not the bedroom but the bathroom. It was really tiny and the shower stall was elevated. No door on the shower stall either, so the bathroom got all wet after showering (that is, if you managed not to kill yourself going up and down the platform to enter and exit the shower). I felt the price was too high for the little comfort provided. The staff, on the other hand, was very friendly and helpful. In my case they ended up upgrading my room because I asked to cancel my booking - I was so uncomfortable I was willing to lose my money and move to another hotel if they didn't offer any solution. The location was good.
