    This is a great boutique hotel in the St. Germain district. Located near metro stops and within walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame. There are many shops and restaurants close by. The staff are terrific. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.     Wonderful hotel in a perfect location

    Hotel des Deux Continents is a gem. It's location is perfect, nearby many restaurants and metro stations, but on a fairly quiet street. The terrace room is lovely and has everything we needed for our week stay. The staff is some of the friendliest we have encountered anywhere. We will stay again!     I stayed in a room for 5 nights and everyday my room was very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good!!     Hotels in Paris are EXPENSIVE and that's just a fact. This hotel was considerably more expensive than last year. But I love the location--a quiet street in the heart of St. Germain--and the rooms are fine and the staff helpful. Breakfasts are a plus. Staying in a tourist area has drawbacks (cost and lots of other tourists) but you can walk from the hotel to two Metro stations, turn right as you exit for lots of interesting shops (I bought a bag of spices) and good reasonable restaurants if you do some research. Also has AC although the thermostat in my room was jammed behind the widescreen TV!
