  Enjoyed staying at the Drawing House hotel ( we were there 6 nights ). Room was clean, bed comfortable. The pillows were quite soft, so I requested a more firm pillow, but they apparently don’t have them available ( I asked on 2 different days since they didn’t provide it ). We found the breakfast buffet monotonous, as they served exactly the same thing every day. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have chosen to include that in my reservation, and would have instead eaten at one of the many establishments within easy walking distance to the hotel.   We just stayed at Drawing House and absolutely loved it. Amazing service, great breakfast, and the room--while not exactly huge (and I do understand we are in Paris)--was actually very functional and clean. The swimming pool was great for my son too. The neighborhood had lots of shops and dining options, and we loved the food court at the mall connected to the Gaite Metro. Agreed with other reviewers who note the nonsensical shelf above the sink that makes washing your face an ordeal, but won't knock off a star for that--the inconvenience lasts for 5 minutes a day total.   Lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms . Great breakfast . Easy access to so much sightseeing priorities...Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.   Terrific little boutique hotel in Montparnasse

  This hotel is a pleasure to stay at. Rooms are very clean, extremely comfortable and pleasant in appearance. The walk-in shower is terrific with its rainforest shower head and the towels and linens are of very good quality. And they have thick, beautiful wash cloths which I absolutely loved!Storage space is a bit limited so we never actually unpacked as there were no drawers and a rather small wardrobe with just a very few hangers. The coffee and tea service in the room is really nice but you do have to ask for milk at the front desk and they give you some but it’s barely enough for one cup of coffee so if you take milk in your coffee or tea be prepared to request it as it never appeared in our room when provisions were restocked.The sink in the shower room is large enough but the only complaint I have is that the shelf for toiletries is completely in the way so when you lean down to wash your face, you bump she shelf with your head or have to move back from the sink and drip water on the floor. And the sink that is in the toilet room has no soap which I found rather odd. Are you supposed to carry the soap dispenser from the shower room to the toilet room every time you wish to use that room and then return it or is it a subtle hint that people really don’t need to wash their hands after using the toilet? Maybe it’s a cultural thing but I found it odd. As well I am not a fan of the liquid soap and shampoo dispensers commonly provided in hotels almost everywhere today. I know it’s cheaper for hotels to do this but I find it just plain cheap. My love for a nice little bar of soap will always be with me I am afraid .The breakfast is absolutely lovely with a wonderful selection of pastries, hot offerings, yogurts, juices and fruits as well as toast. And the most wonderful thing is the large pitcher of hot milk for your coffee found adjacent to the coffee pot- delicious and so very appreciated!The staff was lovely, so accommodating and kind. They were terrific and this place is quite a find in the area-small, clean, boutique, great location and wonderful staff!I highly recommend and much prefer it to the large chain hotels I have stayed in just around the corner from here.
