  Good hotel but sketchy encounter with owner

  Location is excellent, with shops, restaurants, and public transit in a comfortable neighborhood. Staff are wonderful and super helpful.The hotel is clean and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast.HOWEVER. One day I returned to my room in the middle of the day and saw a man letting himself into my room with a key. I hurried quietly down the hall and walked in right after him. He was taken aback and quickly left. As he walked away, I took a photo of him and later showed it to the worker at the front desk. She said he was the owner and went to ask him why he was entering my room, since this is not normally done.He told her he was checking to make sure the staff had done a good job cleaning my room. In fact, I had asked the staff NOT to clean the room, so he had no reason to be in there at all.The whole encounter with him felt shady and "off," and because of it, I would not stay here again.

  Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood of Paris!

  Beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood of Paris! The rooms are snug so be prepared for that! The bed and linens were comfortable and the street relatively quiet. The staff were always friendly and the location is excellent for exploring the city. We did not try the breakfast but there are many cafes and bakeries in the area! Would recommend for anyone coming to Paris looking for something a little bit away from the busy areas but still very convenient!   Elegant stay with exceptional hospitality in Paris

  I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel du Printemps during my time in Paris. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere of the hotel felt warm, elegant and welcoming.The hotel has a beautiful boutique style with refined interiors and carefully designed details. My room was very comfortable, stylish and perfectly maintained, offering a relaxing space after exploring the city.The service was excellent throughout the stay.   I was disturbed by one of the workers even though i had my dnd sign hanging outside. I am a female solo-traveler, and the worker was male. He just came into my room and i really didn't like it... Thankfully i had my clothes on and i think they knocked several times before to inform, but i had my headphones on so i didn't really hear. It's probably because i was hanging the dnd sign for 3 days straight(i just don't like someone else coming into my room while i'm staying) and they wanted to check if i was alive or not but i think the hotel could've made a phone call or at least give me an apology. He just opened the door and left without any apology or an explanation...Except for that, everything was ok. the staff in the reception was kind, i asked if i could borrow an electric kettle, he even suggested me the teabags for relaxing. The room has 2 doors, great for soundproof, doesn't have a fridge or a coffee machine, but you can watch netflix or youtube with the tv. The water pressure is bit low.And the baggage keeping is free which i liked very much. To clarify, a phone call was made from reception beforehand but remained unanswered — it is possible that your headphones prevented you from hearing it. As part of this procedure, our maintenance agent then knocked on both doors, and you opened the second one. He apologized immediately and left the room, but we regret that this may not have been clearly perceived at the time.We have addressed this internally to ensure clearer communication and to prevent such a situation from happening again.Thank you also for your kind comments about our reception team, the free luggage storage, and the small attentions such as the electric kettle and tea.
