Basic rooms with worse food in hotel restaurant

    rating14 Feb 2023

No issues with front desk although rooms are extremely basic and rundown. Shower has good pressure. Restaurant is one of the worst ever. Menu was written on a chalkboard. Waiter brought a bottle of wine, opened it and left. I ordered one of the two things on the menu salmon over pasta. The salmon or imitation of salmon is a ground mix of something shaped in a loaf kind of pastry. The taste is awful. The pasta dry. The waiter was extremely unfriendly. The breakfast was better Regardless I hope never to stay there Guillaume Almeida, Marketing at Euro Hotel Paris Creteil, responded to this review Dear Myriam,Thank you for your review. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed our front desk service. However, it saddens us to read that you didn't appreciate our restaurant. The worst thing ever

    rating17 Apr 2020

It supposed to be 0 starts. Worst hotel ever. Arrived around 9 in evening, had to wait for 30 minutes for front of desk staff. Hotel it self and room was just aweful. I would be ashamed to charge anybody for a stay in a place like that. Sheets, bathroom, room was dirty. Curtains was bit by bugs. We just made a call to booking.com and asked for a refund just because pictures was nothing like actual hotel. Just walked out, staff just said that they not gonna refund us. It was our engagment weekend start. Hopefully that hotel will be shut soon simply because it is unsanitary for anybody to stay there. cretailotel, Responsable commercial at Euro Hotel Paris Creteil, responded to this review Dear SanHanKapoorThank you for feedback. We are sorry if we were not able to totally fulfill your expectations. We took note of your remarks. We are currently working on them, in order to solve them soon.Kind regardsGuillaume

    Poor hotel

    rating30 Dec 2019

Hotel is 16km from city center, so if metro is not working you are nowhere... Rooms are old and not so clean, sheets and blankets are also not so clean. Breakfast is really poor, one piece of bread and HALF (!?!?) PIECE of salami!! Poor quality for price.

Budget hotel for family of 5

    rating05 Dec 2019

We all have different needs/requirements when we stay at a hotel. This is a clean budget hotel. This hotel met our family needs. We did not need room service, down comforters, fluffy robes, pool, etc., which would have cost more. Our goal was to stay in clean hotel that would accommodate a family of 5, offer free light breakfast, have a restaurant, offer enough pillows/towels and be walking distance to a market and be in a safe neighborhood in the event we had to walk to the market at dark.Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Metro is nearby. Restaurants and market is walking distance. We walked it easily.Hotel offers free continental breakfast. 24 hour restaurant is on the premises opened Monday - Friday. We were all pleased with the breakfast and restaurant. The staff is nice and helpful.During our stay, they were remodeling. The noise was not an issue. Pleased to see they are updating the hotel. We walked a few times to get food nearby. Memphis is a short walk away and offered american food - burgers, patty melt, corn dogs, milkshakes, etc. My family was pleased with the food an service and I was happy they accepted Visa.Burger King also nearby but I was only able to use cash.I went to the market next to Memphis and purchased some snacks (funny flavored Doritos), fruit and water to keep at the hotel and take in my backpack while we went sight seeing. This hotel is a budget hotel, no frills. If you are looking for a hotel that offers free fresh breakfast items and nothing fancy because you want to save money, this is the place for you. The rooms are clean but on the small side.We are a family of 5 and this hotel met our needs; my teens slept in one room (3 twin size beds) and we slept in the other room (2 twin beds) that had a flat screen TV. Each room had a personal wall heater which worked out great. My teens love a warm room and I like a cool room - so I kept the window cracked open.No fridge and no phone in the room and that was no issue for us. Free wifi so my teens watched downloaded english movies on their iphones and my other daughter enjoyed watching cartoons in french on the tv.Continental breakfast is served from 6am to 10am. Love the fresh croissants, chocolate pastry and bread. Fresh fruit included bananas, oranges and apples. Yogurt, cheese and hard boiled eggs also offered along with 2 types of cereal. To drink, you had various hot drinks to choose from and orange juice. We are not breakfast people, so the continental breakfast worked for us.We had dinner at the hotel. Prices are reasonable and the food was delicious - cheese pizzas, sandwiches and fries (kid friendly)!!! The menu also offered steak, burgers and salads. The restaurant also had a bar.I want to say thank you to cleaning gal on the 3rd floor. You were awesome!!!

    Lovely staff, but worst hotel

    rating08 Sept 2019

The staff were really kind and helpful - stowed our bikes safely and assisted us with contacting police after we were robbed on the metro. The hotel corridors and rooms are pretty awful though. I expected budget (we paid about 100 euros for two nights no breakfast) but they should have been better. I felt really uneasy and dirty just being there. Our plug adaptor nearly caught on fire when it was in the socket. Very thin walls. Dark and scary! The walk to the metro also felt very unsafe (really rough neighbourhood - please don't walk alone at night here).
