This tasteful hotel is only 8 minutes from Disneyland and about 1.5km away from Magny le Hongre offering guests a rich choice of leisure and entertainment opportunities. The nearest train station lies around 2 km away as well as bus number 54. The centre of Paris lies around 25 km away taking around 40 minutes. In addition, the hotel is 30 km from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.

Facility

The hotel has 10 junior suites, 207 suites, 10 single rooms and 380 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by 6 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with individually adjustable heating and a fan. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its indoor and outdoor pools and pleasantly heated water. Children can enjoy a special swimming area just for them. A waterslide provides fun for all ages. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including golf, a gym, billiards and a spa. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at 3 restaurants (non-smoking, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Dinner options include a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available.

    I never write reviews but with some of the terrible ones I thought I would, we just stayed for 3 nights 20-23rd of April and I cannot fault this hotel, it’s absolutely perfect for kids so so much to do, the staff are so helpful and friendly and the hotel it’s self it’s super clean and not dated in the slightest. Food is lovely as well. Free shuttle that goes to the park every 5/10 mins. Honestly if you’ve booked this hotel and the reviews are putting you off do not worry! Fab hotel.

    Trip OverviewWe recently returned from a three-night stay at the Explorers Hotel, which included two days at Disneyland Paris and one day exploring Paris city centre.Room & FacilitiesWe stayed in a "4 Crew Cabin" room. The cleanliness was brilliant and the in-room safe was very easy to use. Storage space for suitcases and prams is a bit limited, so I’d recommend living out of your luggage rather than unpacking. If you need an iron, you can borrow one from reception; just note that they will hold your passport as a deposit until you return it.DiningThe breakfast was basic but decent. There was a good variety of cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, deli meats, and cheeses. In our experience, they never ran out of items, and there were plenty of options for everyone. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel or use the pool, as we spent our evenings at the Disney Village or inside the parks.The Shuttle BusThe shuttle service is reliable, though it gets busy very quickly as there is no formal queuing system. The bus stops at Stop N at the parks. A handy tip: if you stand close to the "N" sign, you’ll usually end up right by the third door of the bendy bus, making it easier to board.Luggage StorageThe luggage room lockers are secure and accessible 24 hours a day. Availability was great during our stay. A large locker cost €7 for 8 hours, which was enough space to fit one large suitcase and three pieces of hand luggage.Airport Transfers (CDG)Travelling to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport was very easy using Bolt. For a family of four (two adults and two children), the price was between €30 and €40 and took between 40 and 50 minutes. Tip: Be sure you know exactly where your pick-up point is before booking. Our driver started the meter as soon as he entered the terminal area because we weren't in the exact spot where we booked. Warning: Avoid the taxi drivers offering rides inside the airport terminal; we were warned they often charge severely inflated prices.Getting into ParisOn our last day, we headed into central Paris. It was straightforward: we took the hotel shuttle to the Disney parks and caught the RER A train. The journey took about 45–60 minutes to reach the Charles de Gaulle–Étoile station, which comes out right at the Arc de Triomphe and is only a 30-minute walk from the Eiffel TowerOverall a really good stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for families.     Set in a beautiful area out in the country. The hotel is terrific with lovely staff. The pool is opened very late which is great and it is very well used. We never felt it was overcrowded. It’s a nice breather from the parks. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Iur room had a window and a fan which was great. We paid for the hot breakfast which we enjoyed. The continental breakfast is very good if you prefer. We ate in the captains library and the last night we had the steak which was surprisingly really tasty and the staff there lovely. The hotel is a wee but tired in places but we loved it and would definitely go back. Considering it was full of kids there was very little noise at night . The kids facilities inside and out are great. The staff can basically organise whatever you need .     Poor hotel, lots of extra charges.

    Poor Hotel.Couldn't fault the park, but the hotel we found had many rude members off staff. Lots of things came at extra cost. Our room was ready when we arrived, but to access it, reception wanted another €30. Kids wanted to get straight in the pool but changing rooms were closed and we had no room? Towels where an extra €2 pp.Food was very expensive in the hotel! Breakfast was basic.On check out day our flight home was not until 10pm and we were not aloud to use the hotel facility's from 11am. Awful for our children who wanted to spend the last day having fun in the pool.Overall we would not return to this hotel. Really does need sorting!     Filthy!!!!! The minute we walked into the foyer we smelt the pungent smell of urine! Going to the dinning and play area the smell makes you gag. Rooms… bed comfortable but carpet had not been vacuumed, previous guests hair everywhere and very badly stained. Dust in every corner, bathroom dirty. If you have dust allergies do not stay here!Food…We had a large group and found there was good option for all, but the smell that we met on our walk into the foyer made it hard to eat.
