    OK experience

    rating05 Oct 2025

Small, tiny rooms. With all basic amenities. The rooms were clean and tidy, but felt the cost very high so not value for money. Friendly staffs, but had confusion with the bookings. Location was central. construction work was going on when i stayed, so a bit noisy. The atmosphere was fine, as i was there in perfect weather. Emmanuelle Ferreira, Directeur général at Fertel Maillot, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear you appreciated the cleanliness of our rooms, the friendliness of our staff, and our central location. We are sorry that your stay was affected by the ongoing construction (now finished) and that you experienced confusion with your booking. Please rest assured that we are working to improve the last aspect. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and we wish you a happy New Year 2026. Kind regards, Emmanuelle FERREIRA - Hotel Manager

    Basic hotel

    rating30 May 2025

Reception:Our checkin man was pleasant and checked us in quickly.Room / facilities:Room number 34 is on floor 3 and is relatively clean, once you ignore the filthy stained carpet. Our rooms are quiet big and felt spacious, even with 2 single beds in the room.We stayed 1 night. The room has semi-self control air conditioning with a 2 double pained windows that opens to the Juliet balcony. We had the A/c temperature set at 19, however the room never felt cold enough to match the required temperature. The room has 2 single comfortable beds, but flat unsupportive uncomfortable pillows, safe, bar fridge, chair, desk and ottoman, bedside tables and hanging area. The towels are thin, but do the job. The bathroom has a 1970 style “elephant” hairdryer and painted tiles to match the very dated bathroom. Only essential toiletries are provided in the bathroom. The toilet paper roll is situated away from the toilet, meaning you have to reach over to obtain paper. There is zero tea and coffee facilities in the room, no bottled water on offer, absolutely nothing provided by the hotel, yet a premium price is charged for the rooms. Not sure what makes the hotel a 3 star as there is nothing special about the room.Laundry: Self service coin laundry with 12 washers and 6 dryers cost from €6.50 per use wash and €1.50 per 10 min dry, is located 500 m away from the hotel and is open until 10 PM.Parking:As with many Paris Hotels, onsite parking is not available.Wifi:Complementary and good speed. A password is required.Breakfast:At checkin there was no mention of breakfast if we chose to have this. Conclusion:Great for a one nighter if your expectations are only to sleepLetdowns:No tea and coffee facilitiesPoor layout of bathroomUnsupportive PillowsLocation / Nearby:Restaurants, cinemas, Gare Neuilly Port Malliot (tram, RER-E, Metro line 1)Getting to hotel:If arriving by car, best use GPS.Tif by train/ Metro/ Tram, exit the station and walk toward the Cinema complex and McDonalds, and you will see the hotel sign. Emmanuelle Ferreira, Directeur général at Fertel Maillot, responded to this review Dear Sir,We are thankful for your feedback. Please accept our apology as our rooms were not to your liking. We inform you that our rooms have been renovated few years ago and it was not the first renovation since 1991 when our hotel opened (and not in 1970 as mentioned). In France and in our hotel, 19°C is the very least in terms of temperature and it is already quite cold.As indicated in the room directory placed in all our rooms, we offer teas, hot water, irons, adaptators and kettles on request. We would have been able to complete the task if we had been informed of your expectations. Should you wish to avoid going downstairs, you would have the option of calling line 9 from your room, which would direct you to the reception. The receptionists would then have been available to help you and bring you the tea/coffee facilities.May and June are very high season months in Paris. Many events and congresses are attending especially in the Congress Center close by. Our prices, at this time of the year, are high but correct in comparison with the rates of the hotels around. Hotels in other areas of Paris (but not central) or even outside Paris would have been cheaper. Please rest assured that we apologize sincerely for any inconvenience this has caused and wish you have enjoyed your stay in Paris anyway.Best regardsMarvin

    Lovely hotel

    rating04 Aug 2023

We stayed here as a group of 4 for our trip to Paris. Location was great, right next to the Metro and Train station.Staff were really friendly and helpful, in particular the staff on the reception desk.We had to separate rooms, both twin rooms on the 6th floor. Both really nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were great and the rooms were spotlessly clean. They asked you to leave your key as you left the hotel, and there was a huge and heavy keyring on the key, possibly to deter you from taking it with you and losing it. We did like this idea, however on collecting your key you only had to give your room number, no other security details which worried us a little about anyone randomly collecting our key without them knowing. The hotel was very quiet and this helped us to get a good nights sleep each night.Hair dryer in the room wasn’t great so take your own if you can.We had breakfast included in our package, however we only used this once. It was nice, but the room was incredibly small. Food is presented on a trolley, croissants, yogurts, fruit, toast, cereals and everything you could think of. Drinks were supplied by the staff. If I ever return to Paris I would happily stay here again Emmanuelle Ferreira, Directeur général at Fertel Maillot, responded to this review Dear Madam,We thank you to have taken the time to write a comment about your stay in our hotel. It is great to read that you have appreciated the rooms and our staff. It was a pleasure to welcome you and we wish we will have the pleasure to see you again if you have the opportunity to come back to Paris.Emmanuelle FERREIRA - Hotel Manager

    Great Hotel Near Everything

    rating03 Jun 2023

The hotel is a modest, fairly small establishment. The price is reasonable. You can opt-in for breakfast, which we did. Breakfast is the usual for a European hotel breakfast, coffee or tea, juice, various cheeses, yogurts, jams, fruit, delicious breads and pastries. The room was small, by American standards, but adequate, clean, comfortable with a modern bathroom, just perfect for us. I loved that the room has windows that actually open! There were plenty of outlets to charge our devices. If you forget your American to European adapters, the front desk has some.We had lived in Europe for a long time in the 1980’s and 1990’s so we knew what to expect. There in an elevator. Make sure to politely say “good morning” to the hard-working breakfast ladies. A little goes a long way. The various folks manning the desk were helpful to me, and some spoke English. My Uber pick-up was just across the street so handy when I used Uber. Keep in mind there is construction seemingly everywhere in Paris due to next Summer’s Olympic Games, and there is construction near the hotel so it is tough for taxis and Ubers to get right in front of the hotel. But pick-up points are just a short walk away. The Palais de Congrès is a also a short walk away.My husband had meetings at the nearby Palais de Congrès and I saw the sights of Paris. The hotel is walking-distance to the Arc de Triomphe. On the side streets are many charming cafés to rest your feet and enjoy a coffee. We walked up to the Arc de Triomphe, walked under the underpass to the other side and bought tickets for the Big Bus (hop-on hop-off). I say this to show how conveniently located the hotel is.Nice, comfortable, friendly, reasonably-priced hotel, in a good location. Emmanuelle FERREIRA, Directeur général at Fertel Maillot, responded to this review Dear Madam,We thank you sincerely for your comment about our hote and the surroundings. Your description is very accurate. We are glad to read that our hotel was matching with your expectations and that you have enjoyed your stay.We wish you have a great trip back to the USA and that we would have the pleasure to welcome you next time you have the opportunity to come back to Paris.Emmanuelle FERREIRA - Hotel Manager

    Spot on for the price.

We expected a three star hotel, close to the tourist hotspots, clean and with a bottomless continental breakfast and that’s exactly what was delivered. The lady in reception was incredibly helpful. Street noise was excessive but that was beyond the control of the hotel. Comfy bed, spotless shower. Street noise was excessive but that’s hardly the hotel’s fault. We’d return for a short break! Emmanuelle Ferreira, Directeur général at Fertel Maillot, responded to this review Dear Guest,It was a pleasure to welcome you and to read that our hotel was matching with your expectations. We are sorry for the inconveniences and the noise outside. You are really welcome if you have the opportunity to come back to Paris.Regards.Emmanuelle FERREIRA - Hotel Manager
