  The hotel is very close to the center of Paris and the metro. The breakfast isn't great, but it has everything you need. The hotel is a bit noisy due to student groups, but I was in building C, so I had no trouble sleeping. The staff is very friendly, just like Santiago. I'll definitely come back with my family.   Educate the Front office staffs to treat everyone equally irrespective of the colour of the skin.

  I stayed in a private room.....The rooms are spacious....But the floor was not good....It was sticking.....There was no amenities provided.....You need to request it everytime at the Front office....Very rude front office staffs....They profile customers and behave accordingly....   Stayed here with my school arts department on a trip to Paris. It was fun! Place was overall very modern and sleek, the WiFi worked surprisingly enough.The Good:- Food was surprisingly great. Contential stuff mostly, but you can't exactly knock it. If your meals are included then you operate with a paper token system, which isn't ideal, but it works. Queues weren't long and there was some decent variety.- All the events/commons are focused in this one huge hub area, which works a charm. We had a Jazz band on our first night, the atmosphere was perfect. Plenty of tables and space for us to play D&D. There's also an outdoors bit if you fancy that. - Getting on WiFi is easy and doesn't demand that you sell your soul to a newsletter or anything like that.- Full of surprises! Local jazz band on the first night, a wonderful kind of café vibe in the evenings, and CATS. There was a particularly grumpy one that sat on the seats and did allow pats if you were lucky, I've immortalised him in my profile picture.The Not-So-Good:- Walls are very thin. So you can basically hear everything going on inside or outside. Not usually an issue. But considering the place's status as a youth hostel? It gets bad. Some earplugs help fine. - The group I roomed with were only given four out of an expected five room cards. Not usually an issue, but the hotel stresses their importance in verifying that you're actually staying at the hotel. Thankfully the staff were understanding, otherwise felt like being checked at the Berlin wall everytime I came in. - No air conditioning in the rooms, which was brutal in the Paris heat. On a group trip you'll usually be in the main hub, which is ventilated exceptionally. So this shouldn't be too much of a problem if you're travelling with a group.   Uncooked Food and Not looked after Room ruins otherwise nice hotel-Unappologetically bad.

  The room wasn’t horrible but it wasnt good, the shower door wouldn’t properly close. Ontop of that the fan didn’t work. The reason for this one star review is mainly the food. They hadn’t cooked the chicken and for some reason it had cheese in, the fish was frozen.   Horrible food on first night, fish was hard and cold as well as a disgusting salad. I'm fact, I couldn't get any sleep because of the fan. The bathroom doors wouldn't close so there was absolutely no privacy. The tap didn't work either so it was very unhygienic.
