If you like mice, this is the hotel for you

    rating16 Feb 2026

We were sent to this hotel by EasyJet who cancelled our flight after a wonderful visit to Disney and a fabulous stay at another hotel so it definitely wasn't by choice. On arrival, the receptionist was friendly but it became apparent very quickly that she was also a waiter, cook and barista. There didn't appear to be any other staff around and she was doing everything. Our room was tiny. I traveled with my husband and 6 year old child and we were given a double bed. When I asked for a bigger room with another bed for my child, I was told the hotel doesn't have such a room. There was no room to open our suitcases fully and it was very cramped. I will say the room was clean but the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The curtains were very outdated and had a bad smell. The carpet throughout the hotel was also very outdated. If you're planning on coming to this hotel and have a good meal - you'll be very disappointed. They only provide pizza which was average. The absolute worse thing for me was as soon as I was finished eating, I looked down and a mouse ran over my foot! I was disgusted and certainly didn't expect to see this in a hotel. I felt sick knowing my family had just eaten food from there. Also, the "shuttlebus" is an 8 seater van that was fully booked on the first journey to the airport at 5am. The receptionist suggested we get the 5:30am shuttle however our flight was at 7am and this wouldn't give us enough time..we had to book a private transfer. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel - I didn't get good vibes from it at all and felt very uncomfortable. Carole Cholley, Propriétaire at Geographotel Paris Roissy CDG, responded to this review Dear Madam,Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.Regarding your comment about the staff, we would like to clarify that although one person was handling reception, service, and food preparation, this is part of our normal organization and does not reflect a lack of staff or an inability to manage operations.Concerning the incident you mentioned, a mouse had unfortunately entered the premises. When it was first seen, the situation understandably caused surprise and the mouse quickly hid. It was subsequently caught shortly after using one of our glue traps near the reception area. No further presence has been detected since. It is important to understand that, despite all preventive measures in place, small urban wildlife can occasionally enter a building, especially when doors are frequently opened. This is a known and difficult-to-avoid situation in urban environments, even in well-maintained establishments. We take hygiene and safety very seriously. Our hotel is equipped with several preventive measures against rodents, including glue traps and secured bait stations, and we also maintain an active contract with a professional pest control company. It is also important to note that your meal took place around 12:00, while the incident occurred later in the afternoon, around 16:00, after you had spent time in the lobby.Additionally, when we apologized on-site, you reassured us by mentioning that you encounter similar situations in the UK and expressed understanding at that time.Regarding the room, we understand that the size may not have met your expectations. However, our hotel does not offer larger family rooms, and this information is available prior to booking.Regarding the shuttle and your transfer to the airport, your stay was arranged by EasyJet following your flight cancellation. After contacting the airline, we were informed that in such situations, guests are required to pay for the taxi themselves and then submit the receipt to EasyJet for reimbursement. We informed you that the first shuttle at 05:00 would be too tight for a 07:30 flight and advised a taxi departure around 04:30. To assist you and help reduce costs, we also предложed organizing a shared transfer with other guests on the same flight. However, you chose to arrange a private transfer.Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your feedback, which helps us improve our services.Best regards,The girl at the reception

This place and the staff are a joke

    rating19 Dec 2025

The 'free' shuttle is a joke, we waited for 1 hour 20 minutes at the airport for the shuttle, it didn't turn up!! We rang the hotel, the call was not answered it was ignored, eventually we paid 40 euro for a taxi to the hotel. When we got there the receptionist was sitting at his desk with the volume of the phone turned off!! Never again, his excuse? The problem was that the shuttle was free??? If it doesn't turn up what has that to do with being free. The hotel is a problem, the walls are too thin, you can here all conversations on both sides of your room, we waited for over 30 minutes at the bar to be served, there was not staff. They refused to re-embourse our taxi fare. GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS, IT MAY NOT COST A LOT BUT YOU GET ZERO FOR YOUR MONEY!! Carole Cholley, Propriétaire at Geographotel Paris Roissy CDG, responded to this review Dear Wendy,A dedicate number for shuttle service is available and informed on the website, by message and at the reception. It's not the same number as the phone at the reception. The shuttle maked is turn and as explain at the frontdesk. We saw the shuttle make is turn and we can't refund the taxi. Best regards, the direction

    rating26 Sept 2025

PROS* As per my previous visit in January, I still report that this is a very good place and good choice for an overnight stay at CDG* The room is small but adequate and well furnished with a relaxing firm bed and mattress and also a warm blanket* The pick up service from and to CDG is reliable and on time with good and clear instructions* The price is very very reasonable and competitive CONS* It is a 10-15 minute van ride to the place, in an area with nothing to do nor visit * The room is small and basic but adequately furnished* There is no place to do anything, including to find food"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...... because I had a second overnight stay at CDG after my previous trip in January 2025. This place has the most reasonable price for an acceptable overnight very basic lodgingThe free van service for arrival and departure was good and on timeThe room was clean and orderly and the bed was firm WAS IT WORTH THE COST?Absolutely yesWOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?Absolutely yes- after this second visit in five months, this remains my first and only choice for future overnight CDGADVICE from IVTPChoose this place for an overnight at CDG if all you want is to sleep and rest for a reasonable priceSee my review of my January 2025 visit (published in February 2025) for more details Carole Cholley, Propriétaire at Geographotel Paris Roissy CDG, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your feedback. Poor experience

    rating23 Aug 2025

This was a poor experience. The staff were uninterested and I have now realised that the shuttle bus driver broke the screen on my iPad when he threw my bag into the back of the bus. The breakfast was stale and overpriced and I would never recommend this as a place to stay in Paris. Carole Cholley, Propriétaire at Geographotel Paris Roissy CDG, responded to this review Dear Stepheno,We are sorry if you have a problem with Ipad. We take care of luggage. Are you sure it was from the hotel and not the airport ? We will see with drivers but normally we don't manage all luggage.Best regards, the reception

Geographotel Paris Roissy is a convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially if you’re flying through CDG Airport. They offer a shuttle service, which makes getting around very easy. The rooms are cold and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is really good. It’s a simple yet pleasant option for travelers
