Location

The hotel is located in the heart of the Daumesnil area, a stone’s throw from the Viaduc des Arts, one of the most enchanting spots in Paris. The historic Marais, the Bastille (the centre of fashion and nightlife in Paris), the Bercy business district and the Gare de Lyon are also nearby. Notre Dame is about a 30-minute walk away, whilst the Eiffel Tower can be reached in approx. 13 minutes by public transport. Orly International Airport and Charles de Gaulle International Airport are both approx. 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1889. 14 single rooms and 22 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast, offered for a reasonable price, was great too: eggs, sausages, cold cuts, yogurt, cheese, fruit salad, nuts, prunes- very diverse.The area was nice. We walked to the Pere Lachaise , about 2 kms away and took the subway too, only a 100 m from the hotel.We would stay there again!     A pleasant holiday overall and good. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around and explore. Staff were friendly and helpful, though service could be slow at busy times. Some areas could use updating, but nothing that affected the stay too much.     We had an excellent stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful, with fresh and high-quality products, a perfect way to start the day.A special thank you to the girl at the reception, who was incredibly kind from beginning to end. She helped us a lot, recommended great restaurants, explained the metro, and was always smiling and in a good mood. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine in our room such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. We truly felt like we were at home. The atmosphere is very cosy and warm, and that is quite rare. I travel often, but it’s not common to find a place where you can genuinely talk with people, feel comfortable, and welcomed. The reception staff is always in a good mood, which makes a real difference. You really feel taken care of. The location is perfect, right next to the metro, which made it very easy to visit many places in Paris. There is also a beautiful lingerie shop right next door, which was a nice bonus.     Staff super friendly and always available.
