    I will not go back!

    rating25 May 2018

A calm and safe neighbourhood. Very close to supermarkets and restaurants. 8 minutes from metro (the one in 2 minute distance; Buttes Chaumont; is not on a line connecting to popular metro lines. One would be better off walking to Pyrénées). The WIFI was good. The staff were polite and kind.Don't fall for the 3 stars, I doubt if they are real! The hotel is a very old building with old furniture and poor maintenance. The room smelled. The shower was so small, only a real slim person could fit. The bed was TERRIBLE! We ended up with back pain after 3 nights of stay. There is no boiler in the room, so we asked for hot water. The staff helpfully provided hot water with a smile, but it had a brown-ish color and we had to throw it away!

    City break...wedding in Paris

    rating22 Mar 2018

Generally ok, if you use the hotel only to sleep after a long day out visiting. The en-suite triple room is ok, not too big not too small, with a wardrobe, table with few chairs, safe-deposit box, cooling fan and a small fridge. In the toilet there is a really good hot shower, maybe a bit small (need to be on side to get in), hair dryer and towels (that will be change every day if you need). The cleaner came everyday. The location was good for us because of the wedding, but also to visit the city is not bad. There are some underground stops around. This hotel is way better of our last time in Paris, I think it is avarege better compared with other of the same price range. What we didn't like:-broken tube of the shower,-bad smell of sigarette smoke in the corridor-the paper on the wall was coming out

    What a disappointment

    rating17 Jan 2018

I took my mother to Paris as she never been. I went for Nouveau Paris as he had 3 stars and close to the metropolitan. As we checked in a very rude man was at the reception. We were asked to pay straight away, first time I am asked to pay even before getting the key of the room, but that wasn't the problem. Let's get over the way we were greeted too (if we were greeted at all!}. Entrance looks dirty, kind of abandoned! I do not know if there is a restaurant or a bar as we weren't told anything if not given the key and told where the room was, without being accompanied to the room of course. First impression between hotel and concierge has been so bad that I just felt like I had to leave and go. We had a small room with two beds. No minibar. Small TV on the wall. Shower door faulty as well as the shower pipe. It was impossible to regulate it and therefore it was almost impossible to get under the running water. Room was terribly noisy. Every time other rooms were using taps or flush we could hear the noise very loud, annoying even having TV volume loud. At night it would become difficult to get asleep. Of course, as tourists, we didn't have to live in our room during our vacation, but those nights were bad enough in that hotel room. I felt so bad for my mom. I wanted to give her a nice time in Paris but I think with the choice of the hotel I have made her holiday a bit of a nightmare. I am wondering how that hotel can be a 3 star hotel, honestly!

    Good choice for travellers

When you take a look from outside it doesnt look very attractive, but inside it is good hotel. There are no big spaces. Lobby is small. Rooms are small, but clean. Bathroom is really very clean. It has towels and toiletries. The hotel is also only couple of minutes from metro station, park, market, some bars.

Nice hostel near the city center

Don't expect much for the low price, but rooms are clean, staff tries its best and location is quite convenient. Been there only for one night without breakfast, without any issues. Communication in English was a little rocky, but we were in France after all :)
