  The hotel is in an ideal location 3min walking distance to Bastille. Surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants, so spare yourself the bad breakfast at the hotel. Next door is a very cute coffee place called Juni and for the money you spent at the hotel, you can have a great cappuccino and pastry next door. I was unlucky with the timing of my stay as the front door got refurbished and it was quite a mess going in and out. Rooms are small, like almost everywhere in Paris. Bed and cushions unfortunately uncomfortable. Shower has no separation to the rest of the bathroom, meaning when you shower, everything is wet. There is a kettle in room which is a plus. Otherwise very minimalistic. Reception area has lockers like on a station to lock your luggage. Thats very convenient as you know your bags are safe. Check in time is 3.30pm and check out is already at 10.30. Should be a bit longer and earlier check in time. If you want to have a late check out until 2pm, that’s an additional €40.

  Very small room, but adequate for our needs- which was mostly just sleeping. Beds are much firmer than we (Americans) are used to, but slept well enough. Close to metro. Lots of restaurants in the area, along with sightseeing and shops. Air conditioning did not cool as well as we would have liked, but it worked out ok.

  I really liked this hotel, friendly welcome, clean and the location is surrounded by bars, restaurants with a great jazz bar a few doors down. Fantastic bus accessibility!

  I stayed at this hotel during a recent week-long trip to Paris and had a very good experience. The hotel is located in the larger Marais district, but is closer to the Place Bastille. It is convenient by Metro, either from the St. Paul station (about a 6-7 minute walk) or the Bastille station (maybe 5 minute walk). It is located on the main street through the area - Rue de Rivoli/Rue St. Antoine and my room faced the rear of the hotel so I did not have any noise issues. The hotel is a 3-star hotel so it is clean, comfortable, safe, but not a lot of frills, which was all fine by me. The pictures on the website are an accurate portrayal of the rooms - they are not large, but are comfortable. The bathroom was also big enough and well-equipped. The hotel is also safe as you need your room key to access the front door as well as the elevator and the lobby is staffed 24/7. One of the great things I found during my trip, which included 3-4 days of a serious heat wave, is that the air conditioning works very well and kept the room very cool and comfortable when the outside temperature was at or near 100 F. Another plus was a machine in the lobby that dispensed cold water to fill up your water bottle before heading out for the day. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Overall, I would recommend for a Marais stay in Paris.

  Hidden gem in Paris

  The hotel is perfectly located in the 4th arrondissement close to metro Bastille .The rooms are small but with all comfort and AC.the rooms and the facilities are sparkling clean. the hotel serves a continental breakfast and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
