    Very Disappointing Stay After a Long Flight

    My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Paris Orly Airport was unfortunately very poor and disappointing.Upon arrival at reception, the welcome felt extremely indifferent — almost as if my arrival did not matter. After a long flight, this was very discouraging. I was not acknowledged as a Gold member, my last name was never mentioned, and there was no sense of hospitality or recognition. It felt like a very cold and impersonal check-in experience.After getting to my room, I needed to do laundry as I had quite a bit of clothing to wash. I had to go up to reception twice because the laundry room door was locked. When it was finally opened, the washing machine was not functioning properly. A kind gentleman did assist me, which I appreciated.However, after washing my clothes and transferring them to the dryer — by this time it was already 3:00 AM — the dryer did not work. After nearly two hours, my clothes were still wet, and I had no choice but to leave with damp clothing. This was extremely frustrating, especially at that hour.At check-out, the gentleman at reception seemed more focused on his phone than on the guest standing directly in front of him. There was no proper farewell or attention given.Additionally, the area surrounding the hotel is very dark and not particularly pleasant. This stay was meant to be a simple rest stop after a long flight, but I regret choosing this property. There are many opportunities for improvement, both in terms of property maintenance and especially staff training and hospitality standards.Unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations.

    We had one night to stay at this hotel on our way back to the East Coast. Iberia airline had lost our luggage on Saturday and on Sunday morning as we flew out they had found one piece of luggage but not the other.. after many calls, and AirTag searching I decided that Iberia was holding our luggage hostage. The amount of incompetent lying was beyond the belief. for Saturday night and Sunday morning while we were there, the hotel, they were no better. Multiple calls to the hotel from the states on Sunday plus emails did not help. Meanwhile Iberia had put the bag on a truck, according to the tracker, and driven it around Orly for a tour. That night it slept in a warehouse or truck. Monday and Tuesday were the same. The bag took a tour of Orly. On Wednesday, the tracker showed the bag at the hotel we had left 3 days prior. I called the hotel and for once, the nice lady said "yes that bag is here" I told her to watch it with her life. I would have it picked up. I then employed "send my bag" to get it back to us. The paperwork to ship the bag that the hotel needed to provide on my behalf were complicated. I called Hilton Hotels and they patched me through to the hotel mgr. Arthur. Spoke perfect english, was aware of the issues that could arise and promised to be there all day Monday for send off the bag. Relief and Gratitude.

    We stayed here for just one night between flights. The hotel is conveniently close to Orly Airport, and the free shuttle service was very handy. There isn’t much around the hotel itself, but the metro station is right nearby, and we used it to get to Paris — about an hour’s ride. The staff were excellent and very helpful.However, be careful with taxi prices — we were told it would cost €70 to CDG, but it ended up being €125, which was quite a big difference. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard, and I ended up sleeping on the small couch instead. The room was also very warm, and the thermostat couldn’t be adjusted. When our flight was canceled and we needed to stay another night, we decided to switch hotels.If you like a firm bed and plan to stay close to the airport, this place could work for you — otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.

    Second time I have stayed. No more shuttle TO the hotel. Free city shuttle back to the airport though. Check in OK.1) Requested extra pillows. After one hour I went down to the front desk to collect2) Requested extra blanket Nope. After repeated calls late at night one was brought up3) Asked Sully at the front dest to call a cab. He called a black cab. Cost twice as much as the regular cab.4) The coffee machine does NOT turn on until 7AM. No coffee unless you want to pay for the free coffee
