    Avoid!!! Avoid!

I can’t even start. I’m doing this review to warm people. It’s a disgusting hotel and need to be review by European health and safety. This hotel is beyond help it needs to be closed. We end up sleeping on top of the bed, Can’t even bear to check under the duvet. We came late and got no choice or we will be sleeping in the street of Paris. The picture in the website is false. Our room was near the common toilet and shower room and it stinks. My sister went down and asked to be move, instead was given an air freshener. Really?! I still feel sick thinking about it. Then we can hear somebody cleaning the common toilet and we can also hear the banging, throwing and kicking at 6am! Our ensuite toilet was disgusting the toilet brush was full of faeces stains!!! Why this hotel still open?!My sister who booked this hotel can’t understand because she thought she booked a different hotel! We have checked and complained to booking.com about the confusion and ???unauthorised swap!

    Wretched

This place is disgusting, filthy and mouldy. Stains everywhere. I don’t mind basic facilities but this was of a different order. Foul. Foul. There are not enough words to explain how disgusting this place is. The shower was mouldy, the blanket full of stains, dust and mould everywhere.

    Absolutely awful

I cannot understand how this hotel has 3 stars. I would not give even one. The (double) room was tiny (barely the size of the double bed), the bathroom is tiny with no shelf and with plenty of mold in the shower! Old and dirty. The heating worked non-stop and was broken so it could not be switched off, which meant that the temperature was unbearable and you had to open the window all the time. Thin walls, lots of noise outside and from the neighbors - you could hear the water running down the pipes every time they used the bathroom. Tiny table, tiny open closet with two oversized hangers that did not fit, no place to leave your suitcase (I had to put it under the bed to be able to walk!). Curiously, the room looked recently renovated but obviously the renovation was super cheap just to do a superficial fix. The shower was apparently new but the walls and floor were full of mold, and the visible pipes had just been painted and were full of dirt. The hotel has no reception, just a door with a person and some dirty small broken stairs that lead up to the different floors.

Substandard - but you get what you pay for

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here and if you’re after somewhere literally just to wash and sleep like we were then this place is fine. But even then - it is pretty poor. There was an issue with payment when we arrived. We were under the impression booking.com had taken the payment but it turned out it hadn’t so we had to pay when we arrived. We had no information about this prior to arrival, no email to say this would be the case and the card machine was not working so we had to use €195 from our spending money then draw more out. We stayed in the en-suite room on the top (6th) floor. No lift so had to get up 6 flights of a spiral staircase with our case. I wouldn’t recommend relying on the bannister either! Detached in several places and very wobbly! The room itself was average. A sheet and a blanket as covers, no duvet and 1 very thin pillow each (we had to fold it in half to make it comfortable to lie on). I spotted quite a few mucky marks on the tile floor where cleaners hadn’t bothered. Then there was the en-suite (other rooms have a shared toilet and shower room). The shower head was leaky, as were the taps on the sink - the only thing that thankfully didn’t leak was the toilet! The biggest problem was the shower. With no shower curtain and a shallow basin on the floor for the water, we ended up with water everywhere. We had to ask for a member of staff to look at the drain because when we first used it the water wasn’t even draining away. In fairness this was resolved for us but still did not stop water splashing all over the rest of the bathroom floor which caused it to be very slippy. We had to use one of the towels to put on the floor to provide some grip but to be honest it was saturated in seconds and was only marginally safer than stepping on to the wet tiles.Whilst on the topic of safety, there are no fire alarms in the rooms, nothing which says you can’t smoke in the rooms and judging by the fag ends on the “balcony” it seems people do smoke on there and the only “emergency exit” is down those six flights of stairs. Towels and sheets were changed daily - but one of the days we ended up with 2 small hand towels and 1 bath towel between us and as I mentioned before one of the small towels was needed for the wet floor issue. Overall this hotel is not great. If you’re just needing somewhere to sleep then it is fine but if you’re wanting home comforts and little luxuries that we tend to expect when we stay at a hotel then this isn’t the place for you.
