  Great value, great location.

  Brilliant value for Paris, a clean room (302 looking back out to the Ave Gambetta), nice firm mattress and pillows, clean towels and room refreshed daily, friendly staff and a lovely 1 euro coffee machine in reception. It is only few minutes either way to a Metro stop, and from there a couple of pound will get you anywhere on the network. Several bars and supermarkets are nearby. A great find and we are glad we made it our base for 4 days and nights of exploring this wonderful city

  A very reasonably priced hotel in a quiet location away from the centre of Paris but conveniently sied for the metro. My ensuite room was clean and comfortable and perfectly fine for a few nights stay. Buffet breakfast was not especially extensive but for the price, I can't complain. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

  Adequate 2-star hotel, a couple of niggles

  I had a twin room with bath on the second floor. I was happy to have a bath, however there was no bath plug. I asked the receptionist about this and he said this is a problem in Paris and he didn't have one to give me. I managed to find one in a shop for 1.60 euros, so I was able to have a bath. Another niggle: On check in I was asked to pay city tax, which was expected at 1.13 per night. However, they said it was actually 2 euros per night due to an additional service charge. This was not advertised or made clear when booking the room via hotels.com, and I feel I have been conned. I was offered no receipt for such 'service charge'. The hotel room walls are very thin and you could hear people talking, flushing the toilet etc. There is also noise from the street. Positives: very near the metro 'porte des lilas' and bus/tram stops. A couple of bars nearby and supermarkets too. I would not stay here again. I have stayed in better hotels and nicer areas for a similar price.

  Worst parisien hotel ever

  Had to stay in Paris for one night and this hotel were the only one with rooms available. The receptionist was very unhelpful and rude. The rooms were very small, dirty and very disgusting. Very small bed impossible for 2 persons to sleep in it. No air conditioning and very noisy as the room was facing the main Street. We paid 92€ for 1 night. We really do not recommend this hotel and for the price one can find such a better hotel for this price. No hotel parking.

  Nice place - cheap and clean

  We needed a hotel for a couple of nights, where is was easy to park and close to the Metro. Very polite and nice staff, and a surprisingly cosy and safe neighbourhood. Several cosy restaurants and carrefour/monoprix nearby, and close to the famous graveyeard Pere Lachaise. 200 m to the Metro which brings you to the city center in no time. No aircon in the room, so maybe best to have a room on the forth or fifth floor, but clean and good bed and plenty of towels. The hotel serves breakfast, but we didn’t try it.
