    Independent Hotel that Does Not Honor IHG Reservation Confirmations

    As noted on reviews across the internet from me and other guests this hotel executes deceptive practices and it should not be part of IHG. In my case I reserved an11 stay on the app for International Hotel Group (IHG), the parent company of the Holiday Inn brand family, and received a confirmation email from IHG and it was clearly stated on the app when I booked and in the follow on confirmation email that I did not have to pay in advance and I had until the day prior to the first day of the stay to cancel without penalty. Two days after making the booking I got an email from the hotel stating that the hotel categorized my stay as a long stay and I needed to coordinate with them to pay in advance for them to confirm my stay or it would be cancelled. Since I had a confirmation from IHG I reached out to IHG customer care and the rep noted the issue and did not understand why since the reservation was correctly booked and confirmed as a flexible rate. After emailing the hotel that I had a confirmation from IHG I got a response from the hotel manager that the hotel reserved the right to add additional restrictions and policies to what was posted on the IHG reservation page and thus requiring me to pay in advance almost $4,000. While paying up front is a normal part of travel; getting a reservation confirmed under one set of rules and then having the local hotel not honor that is not normal and is deceptive bait and switch. After filing a formal complaint with IHG, IHG stated they would "take corrective action and reinforce compliance with our reservation policies." So hopefully no one else has to go through this. This hotel is a stain on the IHG and is not able to operate as part of an international brand. That said, we would like to clarify a few important points to ensure accuracy for future readers.In line with our property policy, any reservation exceeding 7 consecutive nights is automatically classified as a long stay. This classification applies regardless of the booking channel and is standard practice for many hotels, particularly smaller properties. Long-stay reservations require specific payment guarantees, which were communicated to you transparently shortly after the reservation was made.It is also important to note that the reservation was cancelled prior to arrival, and therefore no stay took place at our hotel. As such, this review does not reflect an on-site experience or the services provided during a stay.We operate in full compliance with IHG brand standards, while also applying property-specific policies that are permitted within the framework of the brand, including the determination of long-stay conditions.     This is a lovely hotel and had everything we needed. It was clean, very comfortable and so quiet! I slept so well. I was here for a city break with my daughter and this was the perfect location and I’m so happy with my choice. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely return here.     Nice Quiet Hotel

    This is a pretty small hotel tucked away in the back streets of Montmartre. Location wise it's not ideal in that it's at least a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro, you need your walking shoes on here. But it does mean that it's in a pretty quiet spot and you shouldn't be bothered by noise. We were attracted to this hotel partly because it has family rooms which is two rooms sharing 1 door so we could have the double whilst the kids were in the other room with 2 single beds - they hate having to share a bed!The breakfast was nice with a good variety of pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurts, meats etc. There was some hot food but not a huge selection. Staff were very friendly. Overall we had a great stay.     The hotel rooms are very good and have everything you need. Hotel has a great location – many attractions are nearby and within easy walking distance. Especially now during Halloween, everything is wonderfully and atmospherically decorated, creating a really cozy atmosphere.A big thank you to Juba at the reception – he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helped us perfectly, especially with great restaurant recommendations in the area.     Affordable hotel in Paris

    This was our second stay in the hotel and maybe because we knew what to expect in terms of room size our impression was better. We had some problems with safe not working, which was solved, and bathroom fixtures (sink faucet and shower head) were not working properly. Other than that everything was fine. It’s a good location with short walk to M12 metro, which was best way to get to the city center and St Lazare station.
