  Great location, rubbish service, apart from breakfast man

  We picked this hotel because of its location to a beautiful part of Paris and close to the Metro to get to stade de France - I have stayed here before too. The location is still great and the gentleman at breakfast was very jolly. We had three main issues:Room 102 smelt very badly of damp in the bathroom - no shower curtain so guess it was coming from the drains. We were woke up at 8.30am on the Saturday by housekeeping- no we didn’t put on the do not disturb but didn’t feel we would need to at a weekend.Room not cleaned. We went out at 9.30am thanks to the wake up call we didn’t want and headed back at 3pm - room not cleaned in that time. Put sign on door as needed a disco nap but went out again at 5pm and no room clean. We spoke to reception when we left mainly to say you need to sort out the smell for other guests but they weren’t really that interested. Am sure there are better hotels in this location or did we just have bad luck?   Very convenient location in Paris

  Hotel is located just right beside the metro exit and a bus stop, down the road is Opéra house and Lafayette. Extremely convenient location with a food options around the corner too. Booking was upgraded to Deluxe room with IHG status though room was still pretty small. Bed are decently comfortable but faces the Main Street, so some traffic noise are expected. Bathroom drainage and hair dryer wasn’t working initially but was fixed the next day. Breakfast was a buffet which taste pretty good and decent spread for holiday inn standards. There is no gym on site and drinking water will have to be refilled at level 1. Overall a hotel located centrally and very accessible by public transport, definitely worth to consider if you are fine without all the extras.   I stayed at the hotel for three nights and overall it is a very nice property, with clean and comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast.Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a very serious theft incident on the day of our departure.While going down for breakfast, I specifically asked the reception staff if we could leave our luggage in front of the reception desk for a short time. The staff confirmed that we could leave it there and assured us that they would keep an eye on it.When we returned to collect our luggage before leaving, we discovered that one bag / suitcase was missing, containing important personal belongings. Although the reception was informed immediately, we received no real assistance or solution.We were told that the security manager responsible for accessing the cameras was not present, so no immediate review of the footage could be done. To this day, we are still waiting for any update or official response from the hotel.There was a clear theft inside the hotel premises, and practically nothing was done to properly address it.The fact that the luggage was left following the reception’s instructions and directly in front of the reception area, combined with the complete lack of follow-up, highlights a serious issue with security, organization, and professionalism.It is truly disappointing, because apart from this incident, the hotel could be considered very good. However, an experience like this — and especially the way it was handled — cannot be ignored.   This hotel has some great assets: fabulous beds, a very good breakfast featuring hot and cold food, and a kind staff. The breakfast buffet cost $20 if ordered the day before, and it would be hard to match the all-you-can-eat nature somewhere else. Potatoes, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, 5 types of breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, tomatoes, cheeses…great! All the staff there were very kind and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger room due to our status (Platinum) and enjoyed the space. The location on Grand Avenue affords the ability to explore Montmarte, the best shopping malls, and an endless supply of restaurants and cafes.   An enjoyable stay!

  My husband and I stayed here 11/2 to 11/6 2025. I would be confident in recommending this hotel to my friends and family. First, I would describe the atmosphere as Business Casual. Comfy, not stuffy. The rooms were a very nice size, especially for Paris. We had a queen size bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom was updated and very clean. The towels were soft. The toiletries were really nice.Secondly, the hotel's location in the 2nd arrondissement was perfect, especially for us, as it was our first time in Paris. There are tons of restaurants, bars and bakeries up and down the Blvd. It was easy to pick up a sandwich or croissant to take with us on our adventures around the city. Plus, the Grand Boulevard entrance to the Metro is literally 2 steps from their front door. So convenient!And last, but really most importantly, the front desk staff were exceptional! They were friendly and incredibly helpful. For example, we wanted to utilize the Metro during our stay, so they recommended we get the weekly pass, which we did. But the metro attendant told us we would need to get our photos to affix to the back of the pass. Apparently, there is a fine if they check, and you don't have one. Well, back at the front desk, when we asked where we could get a photo, they took care of it by making a photocopies of our ID photos, adjusting the size, and laminated them for us. Problem solved! They just offered, and we didn't even have to ask them to. The staff really impressed us. I wish I could remember names, but every one of them did a great job. Highly recommend, and will be staying here again, the next time we travel to Paris!
