    Nightmare with acadie, paradise of bedbugs!

    Hotel in an unacceptable state of health: as soon as you enter the room, a foul smell is emitted. The carpets are obviously dirty, and the beds are infested with bugs. The quality of the buffet is such that it is better not to dwell on the subject. After my stay, it took me almost a month and several treatments to disinfect my belongings. I was stung in the face and neck, which is unacceptable. The facility should be completely cleaned or even temporarily closed to bring it up to standard. I was supposed to be called to inform me after a professional visit, I'm still waiting for the call three months later. We will never set foot in it again!     I stayed here for 1 night, the noise level was average/ok, and the people at the reception were friendly. But there was a lot of hair in the bathroom, stains on the toilet, and unidentified strains dried up on the bedspread and on the table/desk of the room. I also took breakfast there, and 2 big flies were swimming in the honey pot, not what you expect of a 14€ breakfast.

    We stayed here for two nights whilst attending the Ryder cup at nearby le golf nationale. I was a bit dubious on booking because of its two star rating but the pictures looked nice and to be honest I didn’t have a lot of other reasonably priced options. We were really pleasantly surprised. The restaurant area on arrival was really modern and inviting. We dealt with a number of staff who were all polite and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and well decorated. The bathrooms arguably needed a bit of an update but was still nice. The room didn’t have air con which wasn’t as issue for us but I’m not sure how hot they’d get in the middle of summer. My only very slight complaint was that the hairdryer was pretty useless but in fairness I have very long thick hair and would usually always bring my own hair dryer for this reason but didn’t have the room in my case. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but mainly just because we didn’t get chance. As an aside we booked a taxi to CDG airport which cost 155 Euro. An Uber would have only been about 80 but our flight was early morning so we were worried there wouldn’t be any Uber’s about (I think this was daft actually so I would always recommend Uber’s. The cars are usually better and drivers more pleasant.     Arrived on a Sunday at 8pm. The door was locked and I had to call to the hotel to get a code to unlock the door. There was no information in English so I wonder what would've happened if I my phone would've been dead.Since the reception was closed I couldn't get my access code to the Wifi. All of the information in the room was in french.At least breakfast was ok.
