    Rooms very very tiny with no amenities except two small paper cups and twoGlasses. Desk helpful but quite abrupt. For the price, I was disappointed. Restaurants within walking distance.     This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is situated in a great location for exploring Paris. The metro (Oberkampf) is less than a minutes walk from the hotel so perfectly situated for getting around. This is not a tourist area but is a really nice neighbourhood that has a good selection of bars and restaurants. My room was small (I stayed in a bigger room previously) but this is to be expected in Paris and was fine for what I needed. It was extremely clean and modern. My only criticism is that although I stayed in October, the room was quite warm and I was advised by reception that they had no fans. This is something I would expect a hotel to have available. Air con is available but I was advised that this is switched off at this time of year as it is set for the entire hotel rather than individual rooms .I really like staying at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a base to explore Paris.     I had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly, especially to a non French speaking American who loves to chat lol. I was traveling solo and felt incredibly safe there. The food was delicious, room was clean and comfortable and I had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower!
