Located in the heart of Paris’ historic centre, the hotel is 170 m from Saint-Germain-des-Prés within easy walking distance of famous landmarks, art galleries and antique shops. The Louvre is about a 15-minute walk away and the Eiffel Tower is some 1.5 km away.

Facility

2 suites, 27 single rooms and 26 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a library. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service (on request and for a fee), medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (limited hours and for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service and a page service. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area for no extra charge. A photocopier is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning (no extra charge) and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds and children's beds are available upon request and for a fee. There is also a safe and a desk or, for an additional fee, a minibar. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a baby bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. A 1 wheelchair-friendly room with a wheelchair-accessible bathroom can be booked. The hotel has 1 family room and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The sports and entertainment facilities at the hotel ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay. In addition, third-party operators offer a sauna and massage treatments. Evening entertainment includes live music (no extra charge).

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and lactose-free food can be prepared on request. Alcoholic beverages are available for an additional fee. There are non-alcoholic beverages as well.

    Do not book a Privilege room

    We booked the hotel based on reviews and decided to spend more on a better Privilege room. Unfortunately the privilege rooms are all on the first floor, with windows directly out onto the street. This was not disclosed to us. We had no privacy with people standing a foot outside of our windows and asked for another room but they were not able to accommodate and they told us maybe just close the blinds. We paid extra to get what seemed to be the worst room in the hotel. We were stuck between the elevator and the alleyway, where deliveries trucks stop late at night around 1 am and come in the back door adjacent to our room making loud noises. I am truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the location of your Privilege room, privacy, and noise disturbances.     My daughter and I had a five day stay and loved the hotel. It’s in a charming neighborhood near cafes, restaurants, shops and the metro. It’s walking distance to many of the major sights (Louvre, Cathedral of Notre Dame, St. Chapelle). The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. Nice amenities.     We have recently enjoyed a wonderful 5 week stay at Artus - our 4th visit in the last 2 years. A lovely hotel, perfectly located on a vibrant, historic street with great cafes, and very central (easy walking) to a lot of the highlights of Paris. The staff are fantastic - everyone is so friendly and helpful. And to top things off, concierge Sanjay (and Marie) are fantastic - guided us with suggestions and recommendations to everything we wanted and a lot of things we didn’t know about. We can not speak highly enough of Artus and the staff and will definitely be back.     My wife and I recently completed our second extended stay at Hotel Artus. We love everything about this hotel. The location is excellent with many great cafes very nearby, and it is an easy walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The best part though is the staff and the service they provide. Vanessa and others at the front desk couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Housekeeping is wonderful as is the food provided for breakfast. Finally, concierge Sanjay is a joy. He provided us with multiple suggestions for less well-known exhibitions and attractions. They were all great. We will definitely stay at Hotel Artus again on our next trip to Paris.
