    Lovely hotel in a great location a few steps away from Rome metro station. The perfect base for visiting Paris.

    Great value hotel in a very pleasant, quiet yet central location. The rooms are a good size for a Paris city centre hotel and newly renovated. We walked to Montmartre via the Moulin Rouge. Friendly, helpful staff. I'd definitely go back - in fact we're already planning a visit in October! Thank you to Isabelle, Farid and all the team.

    Fabulous hotel in a great part of Paris

    This is the third time I have stayed at the Hotel Berne Opera and I hope it won't be the last. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and a lovely neighbourhood with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to e.g. Montmartre, the Arc de Triomphe, Park Monceau, and very close to the Rome metro station for venturing further afield. We felt very welcome. There is some renovation work going on at the moment but it didn't impact on our stay at all. Highly recommended.

    The rooms are under construction and some rooms are not totally complete. There are construction workers in the building carrying tools and equipment on the elevator during the day. The carpet has construction dust and drywall on the stairs. The breakfast area was located at -1 or -2 level. The selection was good. The person who runs it is not very friendly. The reception people went above and beyond to try to resolve any issues to the best of their abilities made up for the negative construction situation. Specifically, they were Max, Florence and Sasha. They were true professionals! Isabelle, the manager was very apologetic and wrote us a nice note and gave us some sweets and cookies. She did the best she could and changed us to a finished room when we were first put into an unfinished room. The hotel is conveniently located in a neighborhood easily accessible to restaurants, stores, shopping and transportation. This will be a nice hotel when it is completed. Until then, be aware of the situation.

    We were a family from Australia travelling to Paris for the first time. We had heard the urban myths of Parisians being rude. Upon arrival the hotel berne opera those myths were debunked by the greeting of the lovely Louisa. Louisa was a wealth of information of local insights, travel and tourist information. She greeted us warmly each day and made us feel at home ensuring our stay was comfortable. Louisa is an excellent ambassador not just for the hotel, but for Paris as a whole. The hotel itself was located in an excellent position for tourists with a metro station so close and restaurant district a short walk. Amenities were good and rooms very clean. Would definitely come back and recommend.     Unsafe experience-burglary in the hotel room while we were asleep During Our Stay at Berne Opéra Hotel (Paris) in August 2025,our room was burgled at night while me and my child were asleep. Passports ,some money, and phone was stolen.I reported it to the police and the hotel, but I didn't receive any concrete solution or compensation from them.The hotel acknowledged that the window security issue does exist and is currently "under review ".The insurance company also refused compensation, even though the situation was not my fault.This experience was very traumatic for us, especially being alone with a child in a foreign country. I hope future guests will be careful and that the hotel improves security for everyone 's safety.
